The pair reappeared behind the building.
"Jeez... When did the monkey learn how to fight dirty?"
"Probably in his job," Riley said, shrugging. "But it's good that he's putting himself first for once."
"But not right before an apocalypse," Five replied.
Riley was about to say something else, but the small rock that landed on the ground next to them interrupted their conversation.
Riley and Five looked up and saw Lila standing on one of the surrounding rooftops.
"Son of a bitch."
Lila disappeared again.
Riley and Five exchanged a look and followed her.

The movie ended, and Rhea was still lying on the bed, her head hanging off the edge.
This was the second movie the girl had seen since her sister and mother left.
Since then, she'd ordered (and eaten) almost everything from the menu to her room.
She was starting to worry, wondering if something had happened.
Rhea quickly dismissed the thought as she sat back upright.
The ten-year-old girl scanned the hotel room as if that would give her an idea of what to do next.
And it worked.
Her mother's suitcase caught Rhea's eye.
The entire past was open to her. Where should she go?
Rhea took the photo of her parents out of her pocked and turned it over in her hand.
On the back it said: Lucy and Paul August 15, 2016
Rhea stood up, walked up to the suitcase, set the correct date and location, and traveled to the future.
Rhea landed in the parking lot of a small park.
The girl hid the suitcase and entered the park.
There were a few people around, but Rhea immediately recognized the two people at the edge of the meadow.
The young man and woman were sitting together on a red blanket, with a baby wrapped in a second blanket between them.
The two took a photo before Lucy turned to the baby on the blanket.
The blanket moved, and for a moment, it looked like the Baby was crawling.
Rhea stopped, surprised. She was only a few weeks old and shouldn't have been able to crawl yet.
Her sister had also told her that the girl crawled for the first time in her mother's office.
And Lila wouldn't lie to her about stuff like that or at all.
Then a small retriever puppy emerged from under the blanket and ran away from its owners onto the meadow.
Lucy laughed, while Paul stood up and ran after the dog.
"Rhea, stop!"
"Why are you so quiet?" Lila asked her little sister.
The two were sitting together in a diner and each ordered a large ice-cream.
Not without receiving a confused look from the waitress.
It wasn't often that a young woman in an evening dress and a little girl would order two large ice-creams in the middle of the night.

FanfictionThis Story follows the events of the series 'The Umbrella Academy'. Where Riley Hargreeves and their Siblings have to stop the apocalypse... I do not own any of the characters, just Riley and their storyline.
