Sissy lowered the rifle and led Vanya and the others into the barn.

Harlan was hovering in the middle of the barn, in the middle of an energy storm. This storm reminded Riley of Vanya's powers, and the teenager now understood what Vanya meant a few moments ago.

"Harlan? Harlan, it's Vanya!", she called to the boy. "Look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. I need you to listen to me, okay? Can you do that?"

Harlan didn't respond, and Vanya decided to move closer to the boy.

"Careful," Five murmured.

"Harlan? I don't know if you can hear me..."

"Uh... guys", Klaus said to his siblings.

Riley turned their head away from Vanya and Harlan and saw their brother standing by the barn door.

"What?"

Klaus looked outside, and Riley had to stand next to him before they saw Lila and The Handler standing on the field.

"Ah, shit," Diego cursed as he and the others joined them.

"What, who are they?"

"One's The Handler, the other's Diego's girlfriend," Five explained.

"Lila. That's my ex-girlfriend," Diego corrected the teenager.

"What?"

"You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry."

"Yeah."

"Our brother has that effect on people," Allison commented.

"Riley and I are going to find out what they want."

"You guys stay with Vanya and the kid", Five instructed the others.

He and Riley turned around.

"I’m coming with you, too", Diego said, following them.

The three of them stopped when they were standing in front of The Handler and Lila.

"I love the smell of that fresh country air, don’t you, darling?", the older woman asked her daughter.

"Makes me want to vomit."

"What do you want?", Five inquired.

"To watch you suffer", Lila replied.

"What about me?", Diego wanted to know.

"You’re not even worth my wrath."

"Easy", The Handler said. "We’re here on official business."

"And what business is that?", Riley asked, raising an eyebrow.

"As the head of the Commission, I’ve decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors", the woman explained.

"Yeah, right. We didn't kill the board."

"Well, you see–"

"Actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate."

"You didn't tell them," said The Handler.

Riley looked at her and shrugged and Five put his head slightly to the side.

"Oh, you're really a match."

"Guys, what the hell did you do?" Diego addressed Five and Riley.

"What we had to do to get my family home–", Riley explained.

"Until someone reneges on our deal", Five added.

"Somebody wouldn't have reneged if somebody could've met a simple deadline. Alas."
