Recap(~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Shut up. Stop talking."  We were now in the back of Daniel's car, and I was sprawled out in the back seat—blood everywhere. Before we left, Daniel decided he wasn't through with me. I wish I could get out  of here, I wish Jamie would find me..

Ever since we left the house, I hadn't stopped praying, that is why he has been telling me to shut up. But I won't be silent. "No, I am not going to stop, and for your information Daniel, I am praying."

The car jolted to a halt, as Daniel pulled over to the side of the road. I felt my body being pulled from the car, and dropped on the hard pavement below. "Listen to me!" He yelled. He reached in his jacket pocket and pulled out a switchblade.

Fear enveloped me. 'What is he doing with a knife?'

"Look, Becca. If you don't shut up, I will make you." He said flashing the knife in the late moonlight.

I shook my head, understanding him. "Now will you please cooperate?" I nodded, tears welling in my eyes. He dragged me back to the car, and threw me in.

The only thought in my mind was, that no one would find me, and I would be dead before they found me..

Jamie's POV

It's three in the morning, and I am sitting at Rachel's kitchen table with Sam, and Mrs. Kay. I didn't bother calling my dad; knowing he was still in his drunken slumber. I called the police before calling Rachel, and they had said they knew who this Daniel Wills was, and that this wasn't the first time this has happened.

Rachel explained to me what he did to Becca, and I couldn't help the tears streaming down my cheeks the whole time she explained. The things he did to her made me cringe and wonder in amazement and horror, at why someone could be so cruel. She explained that there was a trial and he was put away for several charges on rape, and kidnapping. But how did he escape?

"Did she ever tell her parents?" I had asked Rachel, after she explained.

"No, her mom wouldn't care, and probably would have beaten her more after she found out that she was  sneaking around with a guy— She's not allowed to date. But that never stopped her." Rachel smiled.

"I am scared though. He was supposed to get a ten year sentence. But he could have been bailed out. Who knows." She pulled her strawberry locks behind her shoulder. "He threatened her. The day of the trial, before she had to witness, he looked her dead in the eyes and said 'Becca Lawson, you are gonna pay, and one day I will return for you and you will be mine.' I had never seen her so scared. That day was the third time I saw her cut. She was staying with us that weekend, and I told her that she didn't need to do it, that God could give her relief." She choked up a bit. "She told me God left her. Said that He was long gone. She told me that for years she prayed that her mom would stop abusing her and that her dad would stop drinking, but help never came. She told me that she gave up on Him. She said she knew that she was never going to be loved, and that no one could fill the void in her life."

The feel in the room became thick, and you could feel the sorrow, and emotion coming from Rachel as she told me more about Becca's past.

Mrs. Kay came in the room, with a look of worry on her face. Her brows scrunched up in sadness, and her hair frazzled from being awoken from her sleep. "Mom, what is it?" Rachel said getting up.
