(Recap) (I stopped. I froze. Jamie couldn't love me. Could he? "No. You're wrong, Daniel.. He doesn't love me. We just me like a few weeks ago. You are wrong." Daniel just shook his head. "No, Becca. I saw how he looked at you.. The way he looked at you, and when he pushed me off, the dude loves you." He said wiping a stray tear away.

If he always acted like this, he would be a decent guy. "Why do you abuse me, Daniel? What makes you do it?" I ask, with a sudden boost of confidence. His eyes turned that scary shade of grey, and he scooted toward me. "One day, someone dear to me was taken from me. And the only way to cope with it is to hurt the person closest to the person who took her from me." He said with a glint of envy in his eye.

"What do you mean Daniel? Who took her away from you? How am I close to them?"  My answer was a fist to the face.

  Jamie's POV

After storming out of Rachel's house, I start where I know I could find some clues..  The Diner. Rachel, and Sam have called multiple times, but I ignored everyone. The cops will take days to find her, and there is no way I am going to loose her.

Realization hits me. I love her. I do. So much.

The mid-dusk air hits me as I step out of my car. I make my way back into the drab diner, and begin my questioning. I know someone saw where he went.

I walk over to the hostess, known as May. She has her glasses pushed up on her head, and her hair slightly graying at the roots.

"Um, May" I say, glancing at her name tag once more. "Did you see a guy maybe early twenties, and dark hair, lots of tattoos and piercings."

She ponderers it for a minute and responds.   "Yea, I know who yer talking about. He had a brunette wit him." She said, in her heavily accented voice. "You were the one who he knocked out right?"

I huffed, and ignored her last comment. "The brunette is my girlfriend. He kidnapped her.. Do you have any idea where he went?" I said growing irritated.

She brought her shaky, wrinkled hand to her chin, and her forefinger tapped in incredulously.. "He mentioned something to the redheaded girl, by the door, about a basement. But I don't know how she could know, or he knows her. I would ask her if I were you." I quickly said a goodbye and made my way to redhead.

 Becca's POV

When I wake up, I feel the after effects of the hard hit to my jaw. Probably a bruise there. It's noon now. There is a small window here, but you can barely see out of it. I hear a door open and food lands at my feet once again.  This time, a small wrapped burger from Mc'Donald's is in my presence.. I guess Daniel does have a soft side.)

Jamie's  POV

"I am going to ask you again." I stared at the auburn haired girl, now known as Rain. "Where is he?" She was frazzled. Her sun-bitten hair, off in every direction, and her eyes wide as saucers.  I guess when someone drags you out of your workplace, at 5:30 in the morning, you seem to get irritated.
