(Recap)
(Our eyes locked, not leaving each others gaze. He looked at me, totally checking me out.
"Jamie.." He cut me off,by pressing his lips to mine. At first I froze a little bit, then I easily melted into the kiss.
He traced my lip delicately with his tongue declaring an entrance. I greatly replied opening my mouth.
My arms flew around his neck, and my fingers played in his hair. Our tongues fought for dominance, and I felt him smile.
I suddenly felt his grip tighten, as I was drawn closer to him. Hunger declaring in my stomach made me want more. Electricity struck every time our lips touched, sending chills down my spine.
We pulled away to refill our lungs, and he rested his forhead on mine.
"Jamie, thank you. For bringing me tonight. It changed my life, just as you have. I can't wait to go out with you." I told him, while he was stealing another kiss from my lips.
"Alright beautiful, I will call you later!! Goodnight." I blushed at the compliment and yet again he kissed me. Boy do I enjoy that!
"Alright, goodnight Jamie. Thank you again." I said and he nodded, walking towards his car.
"No problem, I did't regret that one, Becca." I plushed deep red, remembering our kiss at the hospital just days ago.
I raced into the house, making my way to Rachel's room hoping she was awake.
I knocked on the door and waited a few minuted before the door flew open.
"I need details! Now!" My cousin spat at me, while pulling me to her bed.
"Well, he asked me out and we kissed. There you have it. That's all." I told her, matter of factly.
"I know. I saw that. I want details about tonight. You were out for like forever. Sam had made a comment about just leaving. And I gladly elbowed him." She smiled greatly.
"Well, it's hard to explain. When Sara prayed for me, it was like I could feel everything starting to fall and the chains coming off but when Jamie prayed for me...." I trailed off, remembering the encounter I had.
Should I tell Rachel about it?
"What happened? While you were consumed by God's love?" Great! I knew she was going to ask this. How do I answer it though?
"Well at first it was all darkness. Then this figure came into the room and it was God. He spoke to me and told me to run to him. And so I did. He kept telling he how much he loves me and how he will never leave me. Then he asked if I wanted him to heal me. And I nodded, then he kissed me on the cheek and I felt everything fall. You could hear the chains fall off my body and I was overcome with so much peace and joy. He told me not to be afraid either." I finished and looked at my cousin, who now had mascara running down her face, once more tonight.
She pulled me into her arms, and I felt so overwhelmed and still under God's presence I bawled into her chest.
God truly changed me. But I wonder what I will have to overcome in the long run. I gave Rachel one last hug and ran to the guest room
