How does it feel to read the last chapter of Madhav and Meera?
I don't have words to describe how I feel. Their journey was about healing and taking small baby steps in their relationship. From falling in love to falling out of it, only to realise they never stopped loving each other.
Thank you for being a part of their journey and my writing journey
And please vote and comment on this chapter.
Happy Reading

4 Years Later
The only thing that's left is writing his name on the cake. Which I quickly do with the icing.
Over the years I have perfected baking a cake so perfectly that I can even bake a cake straight after waking up from sleep in the middle of the night.
" It looks perfect. " Mumma says.
" Hope it tastes as good," I say.
" Are the kids asleep?" I ask.
I am thankful to them. If his parents weren't there we don't know how we would have managed our work and kids.
" They are asleep with your Papa." She says.
" Thank God ", I mutter, and she smiles. Taking care of one baby is already a lot, and taking care of two took most of our time.
When one uses to sleep, the other wakes up. The same goes for feeding and every other thing. It took them a few months to get their routine in sync. I was always so tired and sleep-deprived.
But one look at the babies and everything was worth it. Every sleepless night felt like a milestone a memory we made.
I extend my hand in the dark and don't find Madhav. Opening my eyes, I see he isn't on the bed. I don't think he is working so late.
I turn around and sleep on my back and see a dark figure walking the length of our room.
I know it's Madhav.
I switch on the lamp. His gaze falls on me. With our daughter in his arms, he coos, swaying her gently.
" Is she hungry. " I ask. I didn't realise when she woke up.
" Shh. Go back to sleep Sherni. I have got it handled." He whispers and she stirs in his arms. My gaze fell on the diaper bag that was out on the couch.
