" Mumma!" Madhav came running and screaming at the top of his lungs.
" Mumma open the door." He hit the door with his fist at six in the morning.
Ranveer and Maithili were asleep. Ranveer woke up hearing the sound. He quickly unlocked the door to let Madhav in.
" Is this the way to knock on the door?" Ranveer scolded him.
" Sorry. " Madhav said making a cute face.
" Why did you come so early? What happened to I am big enough to sleep alone. " Ranveer said reminding him how Madhav begged them to let him spend the night with Veer.
" I wasn't alone Papa. Veer was there." Madhav said getting on the bed in the middle with Shivanya.
" Don't wake her up," Ranveer said.
" I wasn't able to sleep all night," Madhav said dramatically. Maithili was awake, but she didn't say anything, letting the father-son duo have their time.
Ranveer nodded even when he knew that after the drinks with his friends, when he checked up on him, both Madhav and Veer were deep in sleep in the toy tent they made last night. And he put them on the bed.
But he was happy. Finally, he got some time with his wife.
" It's okay. It's still early. You can sleep now." He said, pulling Madhav on top of his stomach so that by mistake, he wouldn't wake up Shivanya.
" But I can't," he said laying his head on his chest.
