It feels like my heart will jump out of my rib cage. I don't want to mess this up. Just the thought of him not liking anything gives me chills.

Take a deep breath. How can he not like anything I do.

Will you just shut up? Of course, he can dislike anything. He has the right. It's nothing in comparison to what he has done. There is so much I want to say to him. But when he comes in front of me all I do is babber nonsense.

Why can't I do everything right and be perfect just like him? He has a way with words, while I do manage to shut anyone up in a meeting or professional setup. I feel tongue-tied when it comes to expressing my feelings deeply like he does.

All I say is I love you. My actions should go hand in hand with my words.

" You didn't mess it upright. " Siya asks on the video call.

" Not till now. At least from my point of view. " I whisper. " I am the worst student of the century. " I say trying to make her feel a little better.

" I shouldn't be saying this, but yes, you are. Please make sure to use all the equipment properly. God help anyone who tries to teach you anything in the kitchen. I could have done that and Madhav wouldn't have known." She sighs.

I know it's difficult to handle a super beginner like me. Hats off to her. Her patience is next level. Twice a day for the last week, she has been teaching me to bake a cake in the kitchen of their restaurant. Without even anyone knowing.

" No. I wanted to do this myself. Like everything from making a batter to decorating the cake. Thank you so much for not giving up on me." I whisper giving her an awkward smile.

" You are a difficult student but a determined one. Madhav is lucky to have you. " She says.

" It's the other way round. " I smile taking out the white chocolate. She hangs up and I slowly unmould the cake. And cuts it from the middle twice with the equipment she gave.

I follow the procedure very slowly with a thumping heart and shivering fingers. The hallway is full of balloons and flowers.

Shivanya and his family helped me plan his birthday party, and Ranveer's uncle and Shivanya even took me to the farmhouse, which is no less than a huge haveli on the outskirts of the city. I immediately fell in love with that place. His childhood photos are a plus one that I saw. Lots of them.
