Dear Gentle Readers

Wishing you all a very lovely and cheerful Diwali. 🌠

May the festival of lights bring lots of joy and happiness in your life. 🤗

I should have posted this chapter yesterday but it was a bit short so I added Meera's pov also.

And Diwali is today also !

Though the chapter isn't happy like Diwali. But a surprise update as I promised.

Dil minnate kar naa tu ja na pare
Tere jane se je na paau

" So stop this. I can handle everything, lecture for everyone. " I breathe out.

Things went out of hand so fast. But I don't regret anything. Just because he is in the police, he can't mistreat anyone, let alone Meera.

When I saw her it felt like the world came crashing down on me. There was glass. Fucking glass was stuck in her feet, and she was bleeding, for God's sake. How can anyone be so blind and inhumane?

What I did to him was nothing in comparison to the thought that clouded my vision when I saw her soulless eyes and the redness on her wrist. That fucker must have forced her to go with him !

I have never seen her so lost ever. It felt like her soul was ripped apart from her and all left was bones and flesh. She didn't look like my Meera. A completely different person who doesn't know how to react or say anything. She just stood there standing still.

Looking at me like she doesn't even know me.

I don't know why the hell is she so reluctant to come with Me. If she thinks I am letting her go, then I need to remind her.

Maybe she is just shocked by tonight's incident. I can see she is all shaken up and scared.

I checked the text I sent to the doctor to reach my penthouse as soon as possible. He is on his way. I don't want her to get infected because of an open wound.

" Stop." I hear her painful whisper.

" Meera we will reach in a bit. Look at me." I say calming myself for her. She needs me and I can't be a fucking mess.

" Madhav, please. " She says, holding my arm and looking at the back seat and then at me. Tears trailed down her pale cheeks.

" Meera, just give me five minutes," I say, stroking her hair, but she pushes my hand away and removes the seat belt.

I slam my foot on the break keeping my hand on her to stop her from hurting. I stop the car before she thinks of doing something she shouldn't and hurt herself.
