I know I did the right thing. It's about damn time I stop passive-hurting Madhav when he always is making sure I get what I want.
I know he didn't like it when I didn't want anyone to know about us. But he brushed it off all because he was making sure I was happy.
And now, it's my turn to show him how important he is to me.
He hung up on me. Now I don't know what to make it. Maybe I should have discussed it with him instead of deciding that we were supposed to take it together.
I messed up again.
" Oh God." I breathe out, keeping my head in my palms.
When will I stop complicating things more? It was a simple thing and I complicated that too.
I look around. Before leaving he said. " Make yourself comfortable. You are not going back to that apartment ever."
So this is where I will live from now. He won't like it if I try to find another apartment. Maybe I should shift with Dad.
Keeping all the thoughts aside I take my bag to the room where I stayed last time. He bought all my stuff here, but like last time, it's not in cartons. My clothes are in his closet, and my makeup is on the dressing table. Even my shoes are arranged. Simba is already on the bed. But he couldn't open the bag with the number lock in which his things were kept.
Now that his family knows he is back he won't come now. Which isn't wrong.
Changing my clothes I look in the kitchen to see if there is something to eat. It's stocked but with raw material. There isn't anything I can cook instantly. And I am too tired to try my horrible cooking skills. So I just take an apple.
I go back to bed and do a video call with Maa. Not forgetting to thank her for the post she made. Updating her on everything that happened along with my plans.
" Stop now." She says.
" What happened? " I ask, stopping mid-way.
" I told you to stay in Greece for a few more days." She says sounding odd. I don't know where this conversation is going.
" But why? Give me a valid reason. Let me tell you, If you Don't know, I have meetings lined up and things that need to be done." I remind her.
" I know. But kaam to hota rahega. You and Madhav were both there. You could have spent some time together. " She says.
" You don't know each other very well right ?" She asks.
" No," I say too fast.
Maa adds Aarna to our video call. And her smiling face appears in bed.
