Dear Gentle Readers

The chapter today has it all. From smut to plot. Everything.

Hope you enjoy reading it. I'll try to finish this story this month itself.

And a special thanks to those who voted and commented in the last chapter. Without me asking.

If I am not wrong only 2K are left for us to reach a Million mark. Which I know will be reached when you read this chapter.

Happy Reading

Meera is already asleep when I make my way back to my office with Simba following me.

I still haven't got the time to work on the files. Every time I start with them something or the other comes up. I know I shouldn't delay it anymore.

I set up my devices to monitor the progress and also keep Jay online. It takes me a few hours to decode every single code and break the firewalls. My heart beats louder when I press enter.

My computer displays a buffering sign. Either it will go through the last wall or their cybre head will be alerted immediately.

" It's done," Jay exclaims on the video call. And I press the timer too hard.

I have access to thousands of patient reports now.

" I thought there would be a single important file," Jay says disappointed.

" We have two minutes. " I remind him, my heart beating loudly as blood mixed with adrenaline rushes through my veins.

" Yes." I start copying everything into a different device. With every second, I see the percentage that is displayed on the screen.

I don't even know everything this contains, nor do I have the time to check. All I want is everything to be copied as soon as possible.

" Ten seconds. " Jay whispers like raising his voice will stop the progress. Ninety-five per cent.

As soon as it is copied I turn off my system. We both talk while I pick up a different laptop and open the files.

" What the hell am I supposed to do with thousands of reports of patients? " I whisper. This is what I am getting after so many hours of work.

" I think this was expected. " He says coming up with something new.

" Why," I ask rotating my engagement ring in my hand before sliding it back.

" I mean they are such huge names in their line of business. Best hospitals and medical facilities available. You know that right." He says.

" That doesn't make sense. " I say irritated by everything around me.
