o18. ⛅️🦢🏐 ↬ I told you to go home! — We shouldn't have had this conversation!
"Okay Hinata, try number six."
One phrase to describe the Karasuno boys' team room at the moment was; hard at work. All the boys were studying in between practices for their exams coming up. Some boys would come in from practice for water and even try to read their textbooks for the extra minutes they had.
Seated in the room were Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, and Sonmi, while their other teammates would come and go in the room. The group of five had been hard at work for about an hour now trying to get through their literature practice work for the upcoming exam.
Hinata was rereading the question, getting nervous as everyone stared at him, he blurted, "Die?"
"That poor demon." Yamaguchi joked.
Sonmi chuckled at the boys' remark, "What did that demon do to deserve to that?" The girl played along as she elbowed Yamaguchi, causing the pair to laugh.
Tsukishima watched the pair laugh, clearly unamused, "You just wrote down the first thing you can think of," He started, rolling his eyes and looking down at his paper, "God you are stupid."
During the time when both Tsukishima and Sonmi were trying to help their classmates study, they couldn't help but bicker due to their opposite approaches when helping people, "You ever think that encouraging them would help? Maybe?" The girl questioned, "That's how I help the students I tutor."
This question caused the three boys adjacent to Sonmi and Tsukishima to give wide-eyed looks to each other. This was not the first fight the pair had while tutoring the boys, and by now they could see the agitation and anger build with every fight. They could sense the tension and they did not like it, they all instead looked to their practice work in hopes the argument would stop.
"Why would I waste my breath with that?" Tsukishima spat back at Sonmi. Though Tsukishima would never admit it, he hated to fight with Sonmi, he wanted to be more passive and assertive with her. But the girl didn't seem to like the mean side of the boy when he was around his teammates, which caused the pair to butt heads.
Sonmi scoffed, "You know, maybe that's why you're not in my class," The girl started snatching the practice problems out of Tsukishimas' grip, "We are all willing to help in my class."
The pair's conversation quickly died down as the sounds of 'ooohs' and 'ahhs' could be heard from the several other boys in the practice room. The group continued their studying, rotating between Sonmi and Tsukishima asking the boys questions, the boys usually getting the question wrong, and them having to explain why their answer was wrong and what the correct answer would be.
