A Baby For Kydd

It was 8 am school started at 8:45.
She pulled out her class schedule and studied it for a bit.
Homeroom was first. It was in room 1015. She walked down the long hall to the back of the school in the court yard. As she approached the doors she looked back. Her idiot brothers were walking their faces still gazing at their phones.
They looked stupid walking taking little steps so they didn't bump into anything.
The back court yard was filled with people.
Students talking loudly and standing in their cliques.
Kydd wondered where she would fit in and looked around.
Before she could seriously think about it a girl with blonde hair jump in front of her.
" Hey! I have never seen you around are you new? "
" Yeah.. we just moved here last week."
" Cool! I'm Taylor! And these are my friends. Ashley, Maggie and Rumour."
She motion to the three girls next to her.
" Hi.. I'm Kydd."
As the girls talked she learned which teacher were the worst and the best. She learned she had four classes with Taylor and Maggie. One with Maggie. And all six classes with Rumour.
As the bell rang Kydd followed her new acquaintances to class.
