Rumour smiled as Kydd showed her the small heart. Cobain had given Her the night before.

As the girls shopped and had that much needed girl time they laughed and continue talking about school and other things popular subjects.

" Hey guys! Or should I say strangers? "
Both girls turned around. Maggie and Taylor stood behind them. After a couple quick hellos. The girls talked for a bit.
" Taylor, how are you? "
Taylor gave a cold look towards Kydd. " Great, but not as Good as you I hear. "
Kydd looked down her chucks.

Kydd winced, cussing always bothered Her.

Once again Kydd blushed bright red. " They haven't slept together yet. Leave her alone Taylor! " Rumour was standing up for Kydd? This is a side she had never seen. " Ha. When did you grow a back bone? "

Taylor walked away with Maggie laughing hard.

Kydd layed in bed that night. She held the small heart in her hands and cuddled Kurt Cobain. How could someone be so mean to her? Like she got it Taylor was mad that she was dating her ex boyfriend. But to insult and cuss someone out like that? Kydd began to cry. Her crying was stopped after her phone rang. It was Cobain. She answered.

" Hey, are you okay baby girl? "

" Yes. I'm fine babe. "

" My friend James told me what happened at the mall with Taylor. "

" Oh.. "

" I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I really am. "

" It's okay.. It's not your fault. I just wish she would stop. "

Before they could continue the phone call. Her mother came in.
" Phone please. "

" I'm sorry, Cobain it's Saturday night.."

" It's okay I understand. Goodnight Sweet Dreams, I love you.."

Kydd blushed before answering " Goodnight, I'll talk to you Monday. I love you too. "

She hung up the phone and handed it to her mother.
" Love? "

Her mother sat down on her bed. " Kydd, I want you to listen to me.. " Kydd always listened to her parents. She trusted in them. " I know he's your first boyfriend and everything is new. Take it slow and cautious okay? I'd hate to see you heart broken. "
Kydd nodded. Her mother tucked her in and turned out the light. " Goodnight baby. "

As Kydd sat in the church pews. She thought about what her mom had told her as well as what Taylor said. Could Cobain just be playing a game? Could all he want is to get with her just to sleep with her? She didn't want to think about it but it was there right smack in the back of her head. She was so preoccupied with her thoughts, she didn't notice Giovanni was looking at her.

After church they went home. Her mother started making an apple pie and the rest of them went to their rooms.
She had just settled into her bed with a book when a knock on her door startled her.
" Come in.. "
Giovanni walked in " Hey munchkin."
She smiled " Hey Gio. "
" Can we talk? "

He sat down on her bed.
" I hardly see you anymore, who would have thought my baby sister would be in a relationship before me. "
Kydd sat up on her knees.

" Are you okay? "
She sifted more.
" I just noticed in church you had a lot on your mind. I just want to make sure my little sister is okay. "
She learned forward hugging Giovanni tight.

She wiped her tears.
She told him everything. About Taylor's comments, what bubble gum girl had said. She left out some parts about the night at the playground and when he came over after her hospital visit.
He hugged her tight after she finished talking.
