" What's up!? "
His voice was deep. And he himself was what you would call handsome as freak!
" Errr..ummm..hi! "
Kydd stood there mentaly kicking herself for sounding like a dork.
" So do you have a name or do you prefer new girl? "
" Oh, Im Kydd. "
" Hey Kydd, Im Cobain."
As he stood there looking at her, she became a little uncomfortable.
" Nice, very nice. Evil stank alert, talk to you later Kydd. "
She turned around to see Taylor and Maggie walking up to her.
" I see you met Cobain. "
Taylor's voice sounded unamused.
" Oh, yeah he just said hi."
Taylor tilted her head.
" How friendly.."
Kydd could see she was upset.
" Is that all he said? "
" Umm. Yeah.. "
Maggie and Taylor look at each other.
Maggie then opened her mouth to speak.
" Cobain use to date Taylor. Then he cheated on her. And they had an awful very public break up. It was all over instagram as well as twitter. It would be wise not to talk to him. "
Taylor crossed her arms and scoffed.
" I don't care if you talk to him. But just know he's a bad news asshole. "
Kydd looked back at Cobain.
How could someone so cute be bad news?
PE continued on and Kydd emerged herself into the game so she didn't have to talk much.
She kept looking at him. And he was looking at her.
She couldn't help but get lost in his honey colored eyes. He had light brown hair and he had it in a modified mohawk. His body was tone and he had a great set of muscles. And she got a glimpse of his abs, when he pulled up his shirt to wipe the sweat from his forehead.
He begin to walk towards her.
" Staring is rude. I'll let it go considering you're just a little kid. "
He laughed as he said it.
Kydd blushed bright red.
" I wasn't staring, well I was.. But Im not some psycho person. I-i-i I just ummm... "
" Look I get it Im hot. Don't hurt yourself though."
He flashed a big smile.
Kydd could feel eyes staring at her from behind and she didn't dare look back.
" Your friends are watching."
He made air quotes when he said friends.
Kydd shifted uncomfortably.
" Ummm.. Yeah."
" See you later Kydd."
Before she could respond the bell rang loudly.
Taylor walked past her, without saying a word.
Maggie playfully bumped into her.
" Don't sweat Taylor. She's just a bit jealous. "
She gave a reassuring arm squeeze.
Kydd watched Cobain high five some of the guys before disappearing into the boy's locker room.
She changed and waited for Rumour, they had to walk back to homeroom together.
" Hey, Kydd. "
" Hey! "
As the two girls walked together they talked.
" So.. Rumour can I ask you a question? "
" Sure, what's up? "
" Do you know a guy named Cobain? "
" Cobain? As in Cobain Knight. Taylor's ex boyfriend Cobain. Or Cobain as in Dean's designated bad boy. "
" So you've heard of him? "
Rumour giggled.
" Well, considering Im friends with Taylor. As well as I've been going to this school since nineth grade. Of course I know him. "
" Oh.. Yeah.. "
" Look, Kydd I saw everything that happened in gym. Taylor giving you that talk practically telling you the girl code. But I see you like him it's written all over your face."
Kydd blushed. Had it been that obvious? Had Cobain seen it??
" Taylor doesn't own him. Go for it Kid."
Her mind was at slight ease.
She made up her mind she wouldn't chase him. But if he chased Her, why not run a little bit.
