A Baby For Kydd

It had been seven weeks since since Taylor had hit her with the dogde ball.
It had only took three whole days for the whole school to find out the new girl Kydd had gotten knocked up by Cobain.
As she walked the halls, girls would point and whisper.
She was already three months pregnant well 13 weeks as her OB/GYN put it, and her little belly poked out a bit.
Sure she was a teenager pregnant. But they acted like they had never seen a pregnant sixteen year old. Did they not watch tv?

" Hey, Momma."
Gigi a girl from Kydd's class who had became Good friends with her said as she joined her in class.
Gigi had a little two year old girl named Bailey. She understood what Kydd was going through.
" Don't worry about them, they are jealous."
Jealous of Kydd?
Why..
What was their to be jealous of? Stretch marks? Morning sickness? Hurt boobies? No sleep?
" Jealous? "
She looked at Gigi with a confused look.
Gigi laughed " Yeah, jealous that you found love."
Kydd shrugged.
The two girls took their seats in class.
It's funny they had all the same classes together but they never once talked. Kydd wished she had talked to Gigi sooner she was a sweet person.

Things changed a bit back at home.
Kydd's new nickname was Bean Bump. And her brothers had suddenly become her body guards.
Her mother and father. Were supportive as always. Her Dad left over seas. And she missed him terribly. But he promised to be home before Bean was born.
Her mom let Cobain stay over sometimes but he had to sleep on the couch. He went to all the doctor appointments.

In school things seemed to be okay. Since the guy incident Taylor has kept her distance.
Her and her evil minions well it's better than calling them bitches. Were always talking about Kydd. And every time she passed one of them they would pretend to cough and call her a whore, or a slut.
It hurt her to see Rumour being so mean, especially when she was so nice to her.

She finally made up with Mia and Dylan. During a video chat call. And once she told them the news about baby Bean they were all talking like old friends.

Many things seemed to be changing some for the better and some for worst.
But that's how life was
