Kydd dropped her bags on the floor. Pulled her phone out and called Mia.

She told Mia everything that happened at the mall.

" Wow, someone needs to teach those guys a lesson.."
As the girls talked Mia begged Kydd to come back to Texas.
Just before she could answer a buzz from her phone inturupted her call.

It was a text from a number she didn't recognize it.
But it read:
Dang girl yu know how to put a guy in his place

After a long pause Mia spoke.
" Kydd? "
" Hey sorry, Mia can I call you back?
After a slight groan Mia hung up. But not for threating to beat Kydd up if she didn't call back.

Kydd looked back at the text message. She read it again before answering.

-- Thanks, um who is this?

Her phone buzzed.

-- Really new girl?

She nearly dropped her phone. How did he get her number? Wait this couldn't be him. Could it?

-- Im sorry?! Do I know you?

She waited for a response.

-- Monday morning meet me in the gym storage stair way

She studied the text.

-- I don't know where that is?!

After hitting send she grabbed the folder with the school map she was given in her orientation folder.
She looked for the storage room by the gym.

-- Better find out
;)

Who could this mystery person be? And why did they want to meet there. She didn't want to think it was Cobain I mean clearly he wasn't interested in her. He made that blankly clear during gym. Maybe it was Taylor? As she wondered what the other person on the other phone wanted she grew more and more anxious.

Later on at dinner her family talked about their days. Kydd was preoccupied with the text messages.
Her mother sensed something was up.
" How was the mall? "
Kydd looked up.
" Great mom thanks. "
" That's it just great? "
Kydd gave her mom a sympathetic look.
" Sorry mom, I'm Just tired. I haven't been sleeping well since the move. Plus all the walking around made me exhausted."
She gave a hopeful smile.
Her mother knew it wasn't true. But she didn't push it.

Sunday morning she woke up to shouts from her mom.
" Let's go guys. "
Sunday was church day.
And as she got dressed she still thought about the mysterious person who texted her the night before.

As her family drove to church she said very little in the car. When they approached the small church Her mom hurried the gang inside.
As the pastor spoke Kydd looked around to see if she saw anyone from school, that she knew. She idly sat there some what paying attention to the pastor somewhat not. She shifted in the seat a bit. She wondered if the mysterious person texted her back. She couldn't check her phone. Her mother always took the cellphones and turned them off on Sundays. And they couldn't get them back until Monday morning.
She always thought it was unfair but Kydd never fought it.

After church they went back home. With electronics ban for the day. Tv, computers and cellphones. They were forced to talk or hang out.
Her mom pulled out a game.
" Monopoly? "
All of them sat down and played.
Kydd hated days like today. She didn't like being so close to people.
She was what some called a bit anti-social. But nevertheless she played the game with her family. Desperately counting down the hours until school.

She ate dinner quickly. As if she was in fast forward mode. She showered and straighten her hair fast and got intoned as quick as she could. The faster she fell asleep the faster it would be Monday morning, and the faster she would find out who the mysterious person was.
As she drifted off to sleep she hoped that it was Cobain.
Her eyes closed and she fell asleep.
