Her alarm clock went off.
As she pushed the blankets off of her she hit the end button. She walked to her closet, she rummaged through her clothes. She couldn't decide what to wear. Does she dress up or keep it casual? After fifteen minutes of a bunch of no and oh hell no.
She grabbed a cute short blue jean skirt, some black lace leggings and a crop top. She put on her black and white converse, the ones with the studs her and Mia had put on one night during a sleepover.
She checked herself out before she ran downstairs.
She didn't bother eating anything..

As soon as she approached the hall way she began to breath harder. She got more and more anxious with every step. She kept looking back, making sure nobody was following her.
As she reached the gym she opened the doors and she could hear the sound of basketballs bouncing against the hard wood floors.
Walking in cautious she looked around the room.
She stepped more in.
When a voice startled Her.
" Hey new girl! "
It was Cobain.
" Hey.. "
" I see you got my text? "
She stared at him.
" That was you? But how did you get my number? "
He laughed and flashed his smile.
" I got it when you gave it to you're friend what's her name?? "
He stepped forward closer to her giving her a look.
" Her name is Rumour. "
He laughed again.
" Yeah her.. "
Kydd shifted her backpack.
" Well it's rude to listen to other people's conversations "
Cobain threw up his hands.
" Guilty. Girl.. "
Kydd smiled a bit.
" So why did you want to meet me here? "
Cobain licked his bottom lip a bit before throwing another smile.
" Well, I ain't going to lie. You're one hot as girl. So naturally I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime? "
Kydd hesitated so she wouldn't show her excitement over him thinking she was hot.
" But what about bubble gum girl? "
Cobain looked at her with his eyebrow arched.
" Bubble gum girl? "
" The girl you were flirting with Friday during gym? "
He let out a small laugh.
" Yari? Hell nah! She's just a little side thing. "
Kydd got uncomfortable.
" A side thing? "
" Ya. You know a friend to call up when you're bored? If you catch my drift."
Kydd knew what he meant.
And she didn't want any part of it. She was a virgin and she planned on staying that way until marriage.
So she nodded.
" Oh.. Well Im not looking for that."
Cobain smiled again.
" Nah, you're the type of girl a guy would wifey up, ya feel me. "
Kydd blushed.
" I guess.."
" So how about it girl? "
She never been on a date before. Her parents didn't let her before the age of sixteen. And she's never been in a place long enough to find a date. But nevertheless she decided to say yes.
" Yes. Do you have a date in mind? "
He flashed his smile.
" Wednesday after school? I'll take you home afterwards."
She smiled and nodded.
" Okay."
" I'll text you later okay, see you in gym. "
He grabbed her hand and kissed it.

Kydd could hardly hear herself think her heart was pounding fast. Had that just happened? She pinched Her arm a bit to make sure she wasn't dreaming. By the time she reached the court yard she knew she wasn't.
She found her small group. She made up her mind not to tell them just yet. Well not to tell Taylor just yet.
As the bell rang they walked to class. Her phone buzzed. A text from the number from the night before. Which she now knew was Cobain.
She read the text :

-- Good to see you this morning girl missed your face

She blushed as she answered.

-- You too (:

Just as she hit send a new text came in.

-- I can't wait to see you again girl

She typed quickly.

-- Stop. You're making ME blush.

He typed back.

-- ;) good

She laughed and texted back.
-- Class. TTYL. (:

As she walked into homeroom. She saved his number in her phone.
She saved him as " Cob "
Just in case anyone saw her phone, well in case Taylor saw her phone.

The day drolled on and the two texted all day. At lunch he texted her and told Her she had beautiful eyes.
She couldn't stop blushing.
Taylor asked her who she was texting.
Kydd answered a friend from her old school.
She couldn't tell if she bought it or not.
But she didn't care. She was to busy texting Cobain.

During gym Rumour, Cobain, a guy named Sam and Kydd played basketball.
The two girls laughed as they were beating the guys. With a score of 3-2.
When gym was over, Kydd and Rumour walked back to homeroom.
As they walked to class Rumour said " So he's interested in you today? "
Kydd didn't mention anything. " I don't know, I guess he has moods.. "
Should she tell her new best friend the truth? She didn't know what to say. At least not yet...
