"Dear God,
"Throughout the past week, I continually insisted you were Gary and Gary was you, even when mom told me how completely wrong of me it was to say that.
But now, two weeks later, God, Gary is gone. He's dead!
And I can't tell you how much I miss him, and you!
"But I think I now realize.
That maybe, just maybe, mom was right all along.
Because God, you can't be gone.
Mom says you never die.
"So maybe you weren't Gary after all.
"But then, who are you?"
