"You lay down to sleep, but all you can really do is stay wide awake.
"Miss Herold told us our year ending exams were starting in a week's time. In a week's time, I'll be in tenth grade. I'll be a sophomore.
"Time is going way too fast and I can't do a thing to hold it back. My life seems to be slipping far, far away from my reach.
"God, I'm scared.
"I won't be a kid any more. I don't even want to think about leaving my younger self behind.
"I want to do it because I know it is the only way out.
"But then, why can't I?
