Chapter 9 Part 2

Renesmee Cullen

My mind raced. Jane? The one I've been having nightmares about since I can't even remember? The one who tried to hurt my family? The one who tried to hurt me? How? I had been standing right next to her. Impossible. It doesn't work like that.

“Jasper, are you sure it was Jane?” Edward asked.

“He’s sure.” Alice snapped.  

“It was the same beady little eyes she’s always had.” Jasper replied, hos fists clenched.

“Well clearly she doesn’t remember us.” Carlisle paced.

Jacob was next to me, and I could tell he was upset. He turned to me. 

"I swear if she even touches you, she's dead." His eyes were dark. I wrapped my arms around him and I put my face against his hot chest, he hadn't put his shirt back on yet. I felt him loosen up a little. He hugged me back.

I heard my phone chime upstairs in my purse.  I raced up and was back in a couple seconds. I opened the message it was from Meghan.

It read: "What was with the call?"

I replied: "Sorry about that. :/ I can't really explain right now. There's some weird stuff going on. I'll call you later."

She said back: "Okay, if you need me don't hesitate." 

I shut my phone and stuffed it in my back pocket. My father was sitting next to Alice and staring at the floor, reading her mind I would assume.

"There's no chance she would've left the Volturi unless she did something wrong and got kicked out. Either way she is dangerous. No one goes back there alone. No one." Carlisle said sternly making sure everyone understood. 

"Then we have to go together. Now, why not go and figure out what in the world is happening?" I said.

"She's right." My father looked at Carlisle.

" Yes, I suppose we can go now, but we can't just breeze in." he replied.

"Let's do this!" Emmett yelled jumping up and down before taking off out the door. The rest of us followed closely behind.

When we got there the house was illminated. All the lights were on and I could tell the scent was burning Jake's nose, because he kept sneezing.

We entered quickly and unseen by anybody outside. She was in the living room. When we walked in she stood up quickly, turned and ran outside into the woods behind the house. We ran after her and caught her about a mile through the woods. Emmet and Jasper had her pinned against a tree. She kept jerking and trying to get out of their hold. I could tell my father was angry. My mother had her guard up so she couldn't use her powers on us but we could use ours on her. My father was standing right over Jane. His eyes were slits. The tight line his mouth had formed burst open.

"What are you doing here Jane!?" he damanded.

She made an effort to cover her ears but quickly remembered she couldn't move her arms. She looked up at him. 

"I don't understand! My name is Katharine! Who are you? What do you want from me?" She screeched back, frustrated.

"You know exactly who I am." he growled.

"No, I really don't! The only people I recognize are them." She pointed at Jasper, Carlisle, and I.

 Carlisle's eyebrows furrowed." What? How do you know me?"

"You were in the painting in the room I woke up in. You were with a bunch of other people I was yelled at by later. Wait, why aren't you with them? You were in the painting." She replied, confused.

Edward turned to us. "Her memoy was wiped some how. She doen't know any of us or anything she can do." I clutched Jake's hand. He looked at me and squeezed my hand. He knew I wanted more than anything for Jane to be gone. Even just looking at her gave me the creeps.

"How do you know that? What can I do?" she replied.

Carlisle turned to Jane. "We'll make you a deal. You leave and never come back to Fargo, never come back and see us, never mess with my family ever again, and we'll let you go with your life as a reward. Understood?" He said, he was now inches from her bright, crimson red eyes. She nodded, terrified. I was even a little terrified of him right now.  "You are to leave and never come back as soon as we release you." She nodded again. Carlisle nodded to Emmett and Jasper and they released their grip. She turned and ran as fast as she could away from us. My father looked at me.

"You and Jake can go home, the rest of us will figure all this out. I know you're both tired." 

I ran home with Jake. When we got home the huge house was silent. We both went upstairs, and into his room. We sat on the couch and watched some lame, romantic comedy for a while. I wandered into his closet and slipped my clothes off. I opened one of his drawers and pulled out a plain white t-shirt. It came about down to my fingertips, but not quite. I skittered back out and sat back on the couch. Jake had changed into a pair of sweatpants, and that was it.

"You have no idea how amazing you are Ness." he replied staring in my eyes.

I looked up at him. He just kept lookng in my eyes. It felt like he was reaching down into my heart and making it beat faster just by him looking into my eyes. I climbed over him until I was sitting on his lap. I leaned forward until our lips met. His lips sent a warm tingle through my whole body. He reached up and put his hands in my hair to pull my face closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my hips and flipped us so he was over me. I pulled him closer until our bodies were fully touching eachother. After a while we pulled apart and just layed on the couch together. I felt my eyes shut and my mind drifted into dreams.
