Morning Star
Chapter 7 Part 3 & 4
Renesmee Cullen
I grabbed my purple and white sweatshirt off the back of my door and threw it on over my other clothes. I also grabbed my fuzzy purple slippers that I loved; it was cold in our house today. I could hear Jake switching through all the channels on my TV he had only briefly stopped on football before he turned it off and got up.
"There is never anything good on TV." He complained.
"I know, tell me about it." I replied. I walked out of my closet and sat down on my bed. Jake sat down next to me.
"So, what do you want to do?"
"I don't know I kind of feel like we should get stuff for school I mean it starts on Monday."
"Mondays far away."
"Today is Sunday Jake."
"Oh, well then we probably should."
We got around and headed out to some random office supply store and got all the basics you would need for high school. We hopped in the car and started driving home.
"Is high school hard or easy?" I asked him.
"Well, it's easy if you pay attention in class and make good friends. But you don't have to worry about that. You already know everything they will teach in high school."
"Yea right."
"I'm not even kidding you."
"Okay whatever you say." I laughed.
We pulled down the long drive and into the garage. We carried all of the bags of supplies in and put them in the study. I sat down and took out all the supplies Jake and I would need. I put it on the table and started sorting the rest into supplies for Alice, Jasper, Emmett, Rosalie, my mom, and my dad. I walked over to the desk and pulled out all of our schedules from the drawer. I started labeling the spiral notebooks, binder, folders, and pencil pouches. Jake and I had six of eight classes together. We didn't have gym together and he took shop class while I took normal carpentry. I had at least one class with one of us in it though. I had the least classes with my father which I wasn't worried about. He got over protective, quickly. I piled all the stuff against the wall and went downstairs to chug a glass of water. Jake had fallen asleep on the couch but I could see everyone walking across the lawn towards the house. Emmet and my father were wrestling and it was kind of funny to watch. Emmet on the ground, Edward on the ground, Emmet on the ground, Edward on the ground. I laughed and opened the door for everyone. They all walked in and settled themselves in various places in the living room greeting me as they passed. Jasper walked in and picked me up over his shoulder.
"Jasper! What are you doing?" I laughed. He tossed me onto the couch and sat down next to me.
"Just thought I'd surprise you." He grinned.
"Well you did." I smirked.
"Good."
I rubbed my fuzzy slippers together as I sat on the couch. Jake went upstairs a while ago and I didn't really know what he was doing. Not that I was some weirdo that wanted to know what he did every second I was just curious. I got up and trotted up the stairs. I walked in to my room. Alice was in my closet.
"Hey Alice, what are you doing?" I asked
"I'll be out in a minute, hold on." She told me she looked through the dresses in the corner of the closet and wrote something on a pad of paper and skipped across the hall into Jake's room. Not long after Jake came in my room.
