peter's p.o.v.:
the room crackles with tension. i can feel everything. every bit of energy radiating off of us. i can hear the hum of unstable power. my senses are overloaded, my spidey-sense is spiking, but the warning doesn't matter. i'm standing right in front of the danger.

all for one is there, across from me. his presence is suffocating. every inch of him seems to exude power, a power that i can feel pulling at my own.

my fingers crackle with energy. orange and green sparks dancing around my fingers, aching for release.

he speaks, low and menacingly, "you don't know what you're dealing with, boy"

"you're not taking them from me." i say defiantly

"i can feel them," he continues, "the stones singing inside of you. soul and time. it's the kind of power even a god would kneel for."

he takes a step forward. a now steady hand reaches out. "i've stolen hundreds of quirks. what's two more relics to a man like me?"

before i can move away i feel the energy pull me closer to him. his quirk is trying to rip the stones from me. i scream. i feel his power tugging at mine, it squeezes my ribs, my chest burns. for a second, i think he's really going to get them.

until, all for one's arm trembles. his quirk hits resistance. it hits rejection.

i let out another scream along with a blast of orange and green energy. it sends the surrounding villains flying, but only pushes all for one back a couple of steps. the air around me pulses, rejecting the invasion from my body.

i fall to my knees, gasping. "you can't take them," i whisper, "they're a part of me."

hit with realization, all for one curiously steps forward. "the boy isn't a wielder, he's a host. the stones have chosen him." he chuckles and looks at me, "then we'll carve them out slowly."

i grit my teeth and get back on my feet. "you're not taking anything from me." i spit, stepping back hands raised, the green and orange light flickering around me.

i fire an orange and green blast at him, but he barely budges. instead he grins like he's enjoying my struggle. how strong is this guy?

"you think you could control this power? this is nothing compared to what i could do." all for one steps forward, closing the space between us

he tries once more to steal the stones. this time he grabs me by both shoulders. twice and dabi come up from behind me and hold me in place.

my body is already on edge. each breath is sharp, each heartbeat pounds like a drum in my chest. the energy of the stones pent up, begging to be released. their grip on my tightens, all for one's quirk pulling at the very core of me.

but i can't let him have the stones, i won't let him have the stones.

i think back to titan. when mr. stark and i had our hands on the gauntlet, trying desperately to pull it off thanos. we were so close. so. close. if only i tried a little harder, if i was a little stronger. if i was better.

i can't let something like that happen again.

i can't fail again.

with every ounce of strength left in me, i thrust my hands out. i release the excited energy of the stones with a surge of green and orange light from my palms. i can feel the force of two entire infinity stones spilling out of me. it's like trying to hold back a flood with my bare hands.

for a moment it seems to work. the villains fly off of me, all for one's hand recoiling as the energy radiating off of me pushes against his quirk.

but the strain is too much. just like the final battle with overhaul. i can't turn it off. i can't hold back the power of the stones.

my vision goes white and my feet are no longer on the ground. my hair blows wildly in the wind this energy is creating.

i shut my eyes tight trying to suppress the light and a thought passes by in my head.

i just want to go home.

the wind calms and i regain my vision.

suddenly, there's a loud crackle of energy. the room bends. the lights flicker. the air twists. my head aches.

a ripple.

a rift opens in the space around us. my spidey-sense screams louder than ever. every hair on my body stands on end, waiting anxiously.
something is happening.

the colors of the stones twist and flicker in the air. mixing into a chaotic swirl or green and orange light.

a portal opens.

a dark, vast energy floods into the room. the building shakes as if the world itself is splitting open. from the portal emerges a towering, terrifying figure. his armor gleams under the flickering lights, a grim and malevolent presence. a figure i recognize all too well.

thanos.
