the dorm is silent as aizawa and hawks walk peter out of bakugou's room. my classmates stand shocked after finding out about bakugou's disappearance, after seeing peter's powers, after hearing peter claim he let half the universe die.
after they leave, whispers break out around the room. i hold the note in my hand.
'peter parker,
bring the stones. alone. in exchange, we'll release your friend. fail, and he dies. you know where to find us.

the name hasn't been on my mind recently. i've been too focused on school, my work study, overhaul, and eri to think about all for one. i didn't think i'd have to worry about him so soon.
i have to warn peter about him. even if it means giving up my secret.
aizawa, hawks, and other pro heroes are meeting in the common room while we are on strict orders to stay in our rooms. i give peter some time to rest while i gather my thoughts. eventually, i sneak out of my room and head to peter's. i have to tell him the truth about all for one. the amount of power he holds.
i softly knock on peter's door.
no response.
i knock again and wait a few seconds before i decide to just open the door.
i walk in and there's no sign of peter.
i call out, "peter?"
nothing.
then i see the window. open.
wind flutters the curtains, i see an already dissolving string of webs.
i sprint out of the dorms. "aizawa-sensai! hawks! peter's gone!"
they're already running when i find them.
hawks lands beside me in a flash of feathers. "no no no, he was supposed to stay. he wasn't supposed to leave." he anxiously ruffles his feathers.
aizawa curses under his breath. "he went to the league."
i clench my fists. "we need to get him back. he can't go up against all for one alone."
aizawa looks at hawks and the other pro heroes standing behind us. "alright suit up and prepare for a fight with the league." he then turns to me, "midoryia. go to your classmates. wake them. tell them peter's in danger. we leave in ten."
