peter's p.o.v.:
the dorms feel unnaturally quiet. i can feel every heartbeat, every ragged breath. my classmates watch, curious and wary. no one but hawks and aizawa ventures close.

holding the note, midoryia stares at me with a look in his eye. as if he knows more information.

hawks walks me out of the room with a hand on my back. aizawa is close behind. they lead me to my room and stand firm by the door.

"listen parker," aizawa begins, "we aren't going to let you put yourself in danger. not alone. you're staying put. hawks and i will develop some kind of plan."

i feel the anger rise up in my throat. it burns, eagerly wanting to get out. do they not understand the situation? i am the only one with the power to get bakugou back, with the responsibility to get him back. i cannot stand by idly waiting for others to fix my mistake.

before i can voice this hawks says, "he's right pete. you don't have to do this. you shouldn't do this. we'll save him together. you aren't alone, okay?"

numbly nodding my head, i sit down on my bead. but inside, my head spins. the weight of the situation, the burning of the stones, half the universe being gone.

the league of villains will never let bakugou go for a lower price. i don't understand why i can't exchange him for myself since i'm willing.

that night, while aizawa and hawks meet with other pro heroes to form a plan, i slip out of my room. with my suit on and web shooters ready, i sneak out of the room ready to rescue bakugou.

the words of the note echo: "peter parker - bring the stones. alone."

the only question is, who is all for one?
