Adam smiles at Brielle and he sits down on a chair. He looks up at her with big brown puppy eyes, and pats the chair in front of him. She grins and takes a seat.
"Okay, so, my friend Breanne and I did this song originally, so just to let you know what it sounds like, put your headphones on." Adam says, carefully placing the headphones on her head. He gets up and presses play on his computer. She moves around to the beat of the song. She smiles along at the lyrics. After a few minutes, she puts the headphones around her neck.
"Wow Adam! Loved it!" She says.
"Thanks!" He says. He sits back down and grabs the sheets of lyrics. Brielle does the same.
"So, my parts are highlighted?" She asks. He nods.
"Yup! Are you ready?" He replies.
"I think so..." She says, her hands shaking.
"Hey, don't be nervous, okay?" Adam says putting his hand on her leg. She smiles and gets the microphone ready. Adam starts the music and puts his headphones on. His mic is ready, and so is hers. She looks at Adam who has his head down and his eyes closed. His head is bobbing to the melody of the song. She smiles and he starts singing.
"Don't remind me, that some days I'm a windshield, and other days I'm just a lucky bug. As cold iron rails leave old mossy trails through the countryside. The crow and the bean field, are my best friends but boy I need a hug..." He looks up at Brielle while he sings the last line, signaling her turn was next.
"Boy I need a hug..." She sings out in a beautiful voice. Adam smiles from ear to ear as he sings his next lines. He blushes as the words roll so easily off his tongue. She smiles and blushes back at him.
"Cause my heart stops without you, there's something about you that makes me feel alive!" He smiles as he sings the next line.
"If the green left the grass on the other side..." He looks at Brielle.
"I would make like a tree and leeeave!" She sings out with a smile.
"But if I reached for your hand, would your eyes get wide?" He smiles as he serenades her with his voice.
"Who knew the other side could be so green?" She takes another breath, looks at Adam who nods at her, and begins again.
"Don't remind me, I'm a chickadee in love with the skyyy, but that's clearly not a lot to crow about. Cause when the stars silhouette me, I'm scared they'll forget me, and flicker ooooout. I taste honey but I haven't seen the hive. Yeah I didn't look, I didn't even try. But still my heart stops without you, there's something about you that makes me feeeel alive!" She sings out, beaming with joy. Adam comes in right away.
"If the green left the grass on the other side..."
"I would make like a tree and leeeave!" She continues.
"But if I reached for your hand, would your eyes get wide?" He sings, looking at Brielle.
"Who knew the other side could be so green?" She blushes.
"Ooooooooh..." Brielle adds.
"We are honey and the bee..." Adam says looking at her with his warm chocolate brown eyes.
"Ooooooooh..." She sings again.
"Backyard of butterflies, surrounded me!" He belts out.
"I fell in love with you, like bees to honey!" She adds blushing.
"So lets up and leave the weeping to the willow tree..."
"And pour our tears in the seeea."
"I SWEEEAAAARRR!" Adam almost screams out, making Brielle jump.
"There's a lot of vegetables out there, that crop up for aaair! Yeah I never THOUGHT! we were two peas in a pod, till you suddenly bloomed and I knew, that I'd always love youuu..."
"Oh I'll always love you tooooo." She sings, blushing bright tomato red.
"If the green left the grass on the other side..." He continues right away.
"I would make like a tree and leeeave!" Brielle sings, smiling. Adam reaches over and grabs her hand.
"But if I reached for your hand, would your eyes get wide?" She blushes and smiles.
"Who knew the other side could be so green?" She sings trying to keep herself calm.
"If the green left the grass on the other side..."
"I would make like a tree and leeeave!"
"But if I reached for your hand, would your eyes get wide?" He sings, tightening his hand on Brielle's. She turns it over so their palms are against each others.
"Who knew the other side could be so green?" He entwines his fingers with hers.
"And if I reached for your hand for the rest of my life!" He smiles at her, and blushes.
"Who knew the other side could be so green!?" Brielle sings the last line, and the music fades. They both smile and blush at each other. Adam lets go of her hand and starts to clap. They take their headphones off, put their mics down, stand up, and hug.
"Brielle! That was fantastic! Your voice is absolutely beautiful!" Adam exclaims.
"Thank you so much! You really think so?" She asks. Adam lets go and looks at her.
"Are you kidding? It was flawless!" He says playfully shaking her by the shoulders. They both smile at each other.
"Wanna hear it?" He asks.
"How about we eat while we listen to it?" She suggests. He smiles.
"Let's."

Hey guys. I really hope you liked this part! It was so hard to write, not because of writers block, just... It's hard to explain :P but it was very difficult. Anyway, I'm sorry it was kind of repetitive, I tried my best not to have it be like that. Next part should be up soon, even though I haven't written it yet... Not exactly sure when 'soon' is going to be either... Until next time, stay beautiful
