Adam walks into Brielles' house with her. It's a beautiful little house.
"Okay, you can sit on the couch if you want. I'll just be a few minutes." She says as she walks upstairs. He sits down on the couch and sees a big black photo album on the coffee table. He picks it up and starts flipping through the pages. He smiles as he sees Brielle in the pictures, smiling so big because she was finally free. One picture especially catches his eye. A picture of Brielle from behind. She's on the beach, and she's maybe 15, and her arms are out-stretched like a plane and the wind is making her hair go in all different directions. Her head is back and she has the biggest smile on her face. Adam smiles and wonders what was going through her mind. He flips through the album some more, and before he knows it he hears footsteps on the staircase. He looks up from the pictures and his mouth opens. She smiles and comes all the way down. He stands and walks to her.
"You look beautiful." He says looking at her.
"Thank you." She says. Her dress is a beautiful Robins'-egg blue color. It falls just above her knees and it's strapless. He makes his hand into a loose fist and bends his elbow. She links her arm with his and they walk out to the car. He opens her door for her and she slides in. He closes the door and goes to his side. He slides in, and turns the key.

They walk into the restaurant and a waiter escorts them to a nice table by a window.
"Thank you, sir." Adam says to the waiter, and he lets Brielle sit down first. She laughs.
"You're such a gentleman, Adam."
"Thanks." He says laughing. The waiter takes their orders and brings them drinks.
"So, I saw you looking through that photo album." She says smiling. He blushes.
"Yeah, sorry." He says.
"No, it's okay! I saw you stay on the page with the one of me on the beach." She says.
"Yeah, that picture is just beautiful. I don't know what it is about it, but, yeah." He says smiling. She smiles back.
"Yeah, when was that? Let's see, I'm twenty one now and I was about fifteen there... wow, six years ago!" She says.
"I thought you were about fifteen. Where were you?" Adam asks.
"That was in Florida, believe it or not! First time I went there. I felt so free, you have no idea. That was a good day." She says.
"So, if I may ask, what happened down there this time?" He asks a little nervous.
"Well, let's just say that when they adopted me, his family wasn't too keen on the whole idea." She says.
"They obviously gave you a hard time?" Adam asks.
"Oh yeah. When I'd leave the room, I'd hear them talking about me. One time, someone said they didn't understand why I was there, that I'm not and never will be a part of the family. And you know what the worst part of it is? My mom didn't defend me at all." Brielle says.
"I'm so sorry, Brielle." Adam says.
"It's okay. I'm better off without them anyway." She says taking a drink. A few minutes later, the waiter brings their food out. They eat and laugh together, as Adam tells her stories from his childhood.
