In the panic of being grabbed and dragged out from underneath the bed, I almost dropped my knife. It slipped from my sweaty hands but, just in the nick of time, I managed to grab back onto it. When I was pulled out, I was on my stomach but I quickly twisted and turned to face my attacker.

Sanra was quick, quicker than I had expected. She dropped down on top of me, straddling my stomach and wrapping her hands around my neck. Her grip was tighter than I thought possible, and I found myself completely and utterly unable to breathe. Panic shot throughout my body at the thought that, if I didn't stop her, she was going to choke me to death

Seemingly, however, she hadn't noticed the knife in my grasp.

I met her hazel brown eyes as I slashed the knife towards her neck. Unfortunately, she had a very quick reaction time. Her hands suddenly released from my neck, allowing me to suck in some desperate breaths of air. My knife would have slashed cleanly through the skin of her neck, but her hands got there before it could.

Her hands covered the flesh of her neck, so my knife slashed through the palms. She screamed out, as bright red blood came flooding from her hands and rained down onto my face. Momentarily, it blinded me, as it fell into my eyes.

Sanra screamed out, a vile curse word. I twisted my body, throwing off of me. Her body smashed against the ground with a loud and painful sounding thud! sound. I didn't hesitate.

I had held my own against her in our small fight, yet I knew that was only because I had the element of surprise on my side. Sanra hadn't seen my knife, which allowed me to get a good slash in at her. Now that she knew that I had a knife, I knew I wouldn't get that lucky again.

Moreover, there was still Stede to worry about. As quickly as I could manage, I sprung up onto my feet and raced towards the door. My vision was still heavily impaired by the blood that had poured into it, but I could still see the door clearly. Once I got out, I didn't know what my plan would be. Where would I run to? I was screwed either way.

That didn't matter because I didn't get that far. Before I got to the doorway, I felt big strong arms wrap around my waist and easily yanking me off of the ground as if I weighed nothing at all. I was flung towards the bed, smashing down onto the mattress so hard that it caused the knife to slip from my grasp and go flying out of reach.

"No," I called out, as I tried to climb off of the bed and towards my blade.

"That bitch cut me!" Sanra was screaming out.

I saw her now, clear as day as I blinked the remaining blood out of my eyes. Her hands were bleeding, really bleeding. I had slashed her to the bones, and perhaps even cutting partly through them. Her outfit, which was mostly white and brown, was soaked through with blood, which continued to seep from her wounds.

Old me would have been traumatised at the sight of so much blood, especially knowing that I had been the cause of it. However, the new me didn't care. I was only sad that I hadn't managed to slit her throat like I had meant to. She had been talking about skinning Buggy alive. She deserved to die, for all I cared.

Stede grabbed onto my legs right as I almost got off of the bed, yanking me back towards me. Suddenly, he was on top of me, pinning me down. Unlike Sanra, he wasn't strangling me, simply holding me down.

Looking up at him, I felt all of my courage leave my body. He was a scary looking man. His face was covered in slashes and cuts. It was clear that he had gotten stitches multiple times on his face. His skin looked almost patchwork like.

His eyes were such a dark brown that they appeared black. They were cold and aggressive, almost as if looking at a wild animals eyes. He was also big, reallly big. He looked at least six foot eight, if not bigger. He absolutely dwarfed me.
