They have been dating for a few weeks now and she has already met his parents and his older brother, gaining their approval in an instant, Fugaku even. She could still remember Mikoto's words that still made her blush every time she thought of it, "I can hear wedding bells!"
So she wasn't surprised when Sasuke told her that his grandmother wanted to have dinner with her one night because she wanted to spend some time with her 'future granddaughter-in-law' to get to know her better. He warned her though that she's one nosy grandma.
She never thought that his grandmother could be this so snoopy.
They were eating the appetizer inside the older Uchiha's dining room when she started on her questions.
"How are you and my grandson?", she inquired.
"We're doing fine, Uchiha-san.", she replied, not knowing what else there was to say.
The older woman nodded her head, "Good, good, is he a gentleman and all sweet to you?" she asked again
Sakura briefly laughed. Sasuke? Sweet? "He's not the type to be all sugary. That's not him at all."
"Oh? That boy should grow some sweet bones!", she exclaimed.
The pink-haired girl could only smile. Although the next question made her-almost-choke on her food, "So when is the wedding?"
"We..he..I..uh..uhm-" she stammered for words
"I want grandkids already! Lots of them!" the older woman happily expressed
'Grandkids?', Sakura knew that she's as red as her boyfriend's favorite fruit. 'We've only been dating for a few freaking weeks and she wants grandkids already?!!"
But it seemed like Sasuke's grandmother's still oblivious to her embarassment and still asked the question that just about to make her faint, "So have you two done it already?"
Sakura almost wanted to run away to escape from this awkward situation.
"I really hope you did, you know."
This would be a long, long night.
