AN: This is so rushed because I wanted to post something before 2013 ends. So there. Happy New Year, everyone! :)

Haruno Sakura has always been in love with fireworks.
She anticipated it in almost every occasion. Especially during New Year's Eve. This year's special because Uchiha Sasuke, the love of her life--although she wouldn't admit it like she did before, was back and just got reinstated as a Konoha shinobi, and a part of Team 7.
She couldn't be happier. Or so she thought.
They were gathered on top of the Hokage Monument--almost everyone that was important to her were there; her family, friends, comrades, everyone.
As they stood almost near the edge, Sakura turned to her teammates, smiled at the sight, and gave a sigh of relief, thinking life couldn't get better than this.
When the clock struck twelve, the fireworks went off. Sakura has never seen anything more colorful and beautiful.
She felt someone grabbed her wrist and she turned around to see Sasuke, with something in his eyes that made her heart stopped.
She was about to ask what's wrong when he suddenly kissed her and she froze, heat crept on her cheeks. After a few seconds, he pulled away with a smirk. "Happy New Year, Sakura."
Sakura then realized that if she's in love with fireworks, then Sasuke was in a whole new level.
