A/N: Day 5.

"Hey, teme!"
It’s not everyday that Sasuke and Naruto got into a mission together with just the two of them. So when they did, Naruto took this chance to annoy the hell out of Sasuke in all possible ways. The mission was long done and they’re camping out for the night. They just finished eating dinner in front of a camp fire, sitting across each other.
"What?" he snarled. This would probably be the nth question for the night.
The blue-eyed idiot’s expression suddenly turned solemn. “Did you know that you made Sakura cry a lot of times more than anyone? Even if it’s all of us combined?"
Sasuke froze. He didn’t expect that. He couldn’t think of a response.
Naruto sensed that he was uncomfortable. “Her tears would probably be the ‘Second Great Flood’. You know, the flood to wipe you out," he joked, trying to lighten the mood.
He still couldn’t answer. He felt something tightening in his chest. As if someone was squeezing his heart. He looked away from Naruto.
His best friend gazed at him knowingly after seeing his expression— something that no other could see. “But I think that if that flood happened, you are the only one she would save."
He looked up at this. They stared at each other. He finally found his voice, and the words. “I should be wiped out. She wouldn’t do that." He told him. He wouldn’t admit it to anyone, but saying those words out loud made him feel like his heart was being gripped tighter than it was before.
Naruto grinned. “Oh yes, she would. Because maybe then, with only the two of you left in the world, you might actually love her back. That is, if you don’t already do."
