"Hey, Sasuke-kun?"
They were lying on the grass of the training grounds. Other members of Team 7 all had a mission. They were unfortunate because they missed the meteor shower that happened just now.
It was said that you could make a wish to one of the falling stars and it would come true but--
"Hn." he grunted as a reply.
She wasn't looking at him, she was still looking at the sky. "What did you wish for?" She asked him softly.
"How about you?' he asked her back.
She shook her head, smiling, " I asked you first. Oh well, I wished for all our happiness. For Team 7 to be 'there' forever. For Naruto to not stop being the idiot he was--", she laughed because she knew he frowned at that. "--yes, I wished for that. For Sai to finally understand emotions. For Kakashi to finally get a girlfriend." Her smile faltered and her voice softened, "And for you not to leave us again." Not to leave me again.
His heart clenched. "I wouldn't."
She smiled, looked at him before returning her gaze to the sky, as if the falling stars are still there.
"Thank you. But again, what did you wish for?"
"Nothing." He finally said. She snapped her head at him, eyes curious. He just smirked and just kept on giving her a very intense stare.
--Sasuke thought it's stupid because who needs stars and wishes when all he ever wanted, needed, and dreamt of, was right there in front of him.
