prompt: Where Sakura is sent back in time and meets Sasuke and Itachi.

'Where the hell am I?'

Sakura is confused. She was just on her way home when there came a blinding light and the feeling of falling. She had to close her eyes and when she finally opened them, she was sitting on the floor in the middle of the road.

She got up and thought that it was just the product of her exhaustion when something, or someone caught her eye. Two boys walking towards her.

She wouldn't have been shock if it was just two normal village boys.

It was Itachi and Sasuke.

She rubbed her eyes trying to wake herself up in case she was daydreaming. Yet there they were. Itachi smiling at Sasuke's babble while giving him a piggyback ride. You can see the happiness on their eyes.

Happiness. On Uchiha-freaking-Sasuke's eyes.

She didn't how she got here but she managed to go back in time and she can't help thinking about how things would be if the massacre didn't happen. What would have happened to the two brothers that were so happy in the past, but were now broken by tragedy?

As if on cue, they were in front her, Itachi stopped on his track when he saw that she was blocking the way.

"Are you okay, miss?" Uchiha Itachi's polite tone reached her ears.

Sasuke's head perked up from Itachi's back and looked at her with those big, innocent eyes and that was it for Sakura's tears to start falling freely and she couldn't stop falling on her knees.

She found herself hugging the two young, happy boys in front of her.

They were both surprised but didn't protest.

"Why is she crying, onii-chan?" Sasuke asked his brother.

She knew she couldn't tell them about the future. She knew she couldn't do anything so she she prompted for a, "I'm just glad that you two both love each other very much. Don't ever forget that you two."

They both nodded even confused.

"You are brothers so no matter what happens, have faith on each other. Remember all the good things you had."

Her body started glowing and she knew it's time for her to return.

She touched Sasuke's cheek for the last time and smiled.

"The future won't be good but always remember, I will love you forever."
