His Bandmate

Chapter 1

Mia's P.O.V
My alarm went off making me groan and hit my alarm. I climbed out of bed and started my shower. When I got in the shower I let the warm water run over me and wake me up. When I got out of the shower I through on a pair of jeans with a purple shirt, throwing on my jacket. I put on my black converse and decided to leave my hair natural, which was just straight. I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder, and started walking to work. It was the fall so it was just a little chilly.

I worked at my moms friends restaurant. It paid good, and I enjoyed the people I worked with so I didn't complain. My mom lived in America where I used to live, about three years ago. I missed my family but I wanted a new start so I decided to move to London. I honestly loved it so much over here, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. 

I arrived at work, and hung my jacket up in the back, along with my bag. Maddie was already here, along with the cooks. Maddie was one of my best friends here. I met her when I started working here, and she helped me get the hang of everything. She was the person that I knew I could always count on if I needed help with anything.

"Hey," I said smiling at her.

"Hey, thank god you're here. It's so boring in the mornings." She said. At the restaurant a lot of people didn't come in the mornings. It was about noon when people started to show up. I grabbed a hair tie and through up my hair, in a ponytail. I then through on my apron around my waist. Maddie and I sat talking at the counter until people started arriving. The first customer walked in and Maddie volunteered to take them first. While she was away taking care of them I heard the bell ring, signaling someone walking in. I looked up and waited for the two guys to be seated, before I took their order. I gave them a couple minutes, then walked over towards them.

"Hi I'm Mia and I'll be your waitress today. Could I start you guys off with something to drink?" I asked. The one boy looked at me and I went in shock for a minute when I saw Niall Horan from One Direction. No famous people ever came to this restaurant, seeing as it wasn't one of the nicest around. He must of saw my shock because he gave me a small smile.

"I'll have a water." Niall said. I turned toward the other guy that was with him, I didn't recognize him so he must have been one of Niall's friends.

"I'll have a coke," the other guy said.

"Ok I'll be right back with that." I walked over towards the drink station. I really wasn't a fan of One Direction, they had good music but I really didn't listen to music often.

Maddie was by the drinks filling up cups, I got a coke and water and took it over towards them. I set the drinks down carefully, making sure not to spill them.

"Would you like a couple more minutes to order?" I asked them.

"No I think we're ready." Niall answered. I wrote down what they ordered, and picked up the menus. While Maddie walked past me I stopped her.

"Hey will you please go put this order in?" I asked her.

"Yea." She looked at Niall and his friend behind me who was watching us since I was still in front of their table. Her eyes widened at the sight of Niall.

"Oh my God! Has anyone ever told you that you look just like Niall Horan from One Direction?" She asked him. I lost it and started cracking up, Niall started laughing along with his friend. Maddie looked clueless just staring at us, like we had something wrong with us.

"I am Niall Horan." He said chuckling. Her face went blood red.

"Oh sorry about that!" She said. I was leaning up against the desk where you checkout, which is right by Niall's table still laughing. Maddie turned around and glared at me. I instantly stopped laughing and turned around. Maddie came back over to the counter, and her face was still red from embarrassment.

"I can't believe I just did that!" She whispered and yelled so Niall couldn't hear her. I started chuckling then she joined in. There wasn't many people here so Maddie took out her phone and we started watching vines. In minutes we were laughing so hard we were crying. People were giving us weird glances while we tried to calm down.

I went to check on Niall's food, and saw it was done. I collected it and carried it over to his table. After I laid it down I went to get them refills. I walked back and they both thanked me. Before I walked away I saw Niall's eyes get wide then he ducked down. I followed his gaze to two guys with cameras walking in the restaurant. I walked up to the counter and blocked their view of Niall.

"Hi can I help you?" I asked them. They both looked at me.

"Yea, we heard Niall Horan is here. If we could just get a couple pictures of him that would be great. We'll even pay you." They said. I honestly feel bad for Niall. Who wants to get a picture when they're eating, and couldn't they wait outside.

"Oh, actually I saw him walk in that restaurant over there." I pointed to a nicer looking restaurant across the street.

"Oh thank you so much!" They said and walked out the door. I watched them walk out the door to the other restaurant. I shook my head and walked back over towards Niall's table.

"Does everything taste alright?" I asked him.

"Yea, thank you for doing that." Niall said.

"No problem," I walked back over towards my counter and waited for them to finish. They walked up to the counter and paid their bill. Niall and his friend started walking out of the restaurant, when Niall turned around. He walked up to me and handed me money.

"Oh I forgot to give you a tip!" I looked at how much he gave me and my eyes widened. 200 pounds. I looked up at him in shock.

"You saved me a lot of trouble so thanks again."

"Thank you! Have a good day!" I said. They waved and walked out. Maddie left about 5 minutes later, and I still had an hour left. I served about 5 more people, before it was time to leave. I grabbed my jacket and bag. I let down my hair before walking out of the restaurant. I started my walk home, and arrived at my apartment 30 minutes later.

I ordered Chinese, and watched tv till the food arrived. When it did I paid the delivery man, and started eating. After I was done I cleaned up and ended falling asleep on the couch.
