Chapter 15 -Insanity

Hi guys from here is where the book starts getting intresting people start dying and old freinds re-unite and some turn nasty as the paranoia starts to kick in for the group as the zombie apocalypse is driving them insane and the group will do anything to get to the island enjoy!

Previously....

I took the biggest guy and he dropped dead after a quick shot to the head the other two aimed their guns at me and I duck behind an old abandoned car I quickly look up and aim at them sending a few bullets whizzing through the air............. We hopped in the car and drove off into the seting sun

The drive didn't last long as we were in the next town after about 45 minutes we quickly found a convieniance store and took refuge for the night when we were all unpacked ieuan walked over to me and struck up a conversation.

"Hi jason" he said. "HI" I replied . So where are we going after we have stayed here?" He quickly asks I tell him we are gonna find a boat at the docks and we will head to the island after we have been there because if we are lucky we will find a boat that will be able to take us all the way there I tell him."Cool so how life for you at the minute I know emma is acting abit strange but so is jade its like this whole thing is driving them insane" he said. The conversation didn't last long as he walked out the door I turned around and sat down on the edge of my bed in the store that I had set off I lied down and drifted off to sleep. I woke up in the middled of the night sweating I saw a shadow in the middle of the room it was swaying I knew this wasn't a dream.

I reacted quickly and reached under my pillow and pulled ou a flashight and my revolver I flicked it on to see ieuan but it wasn't ieuan anymore he ran at me with incredible speed and I side stepped him and he crashed into the wall I shot a few bullets at him but he dodged them and tackled me into the wall and I dropped my revolver just out of my reach I grab ieuans neck preventing him from biting me while I reach for the revolver with my other hand it is so close I let go of his neck grab the revolver and I spin around and shoot him in the middle of the head emma bursts into the room as I am sat there with my back against the wall.

"What happened" emma asked. Panting for breath I reply to her. "I-I-it was ieuan he - he was one of them a a zombie he tried to kill me. Ieuan was dead and we couldn't do anything about that. We walked downstairs and I grabbed a drink and gulped it down in shock. Emma made me a sandwhich with fresh lettuce and ham from the store that we have collected earlier she sat down next to me and melissa walked into the room with caitlin and luke next to her. "Hey what was all that commotion about" Luke asked.

"It was ieuan he changed and attacked jason in his sleep some of this group is hiding something and I want to know who it is" she said sounding abit annoyed maddie and the others joined us in the room after hearing what had gone off nobody could sleep. Melissa offered if I wanted to stay with her and I accepted and me and melissa went up to her room she kissed me on the lips and we got into bed she wrapped her arms around me and I imediately fell to sleep.
