Chapter 4 - Surprise!

I wake up in a hospital room and see a figure examining me its face was ripped and blood was pouring out its limbs were disfigured and its clothes were torn and ragged with blotches of blood he looks at me and puts a hand on my chest and says in a harsh yet soothing tone.soon.

I wake up with a start sweating realising it was only a nightmare I look at my watch that I'm wearing and get up and put some fresh clothes on that by the looks of it emma has left for me. I open the door leading to the corridor and make my way downstairs into the kitchen were everyone was gathered eating breakfast "sit down and get some grub you will need it for today we need you,ieuan and tamsin to go into town to get some supplies head to the grocery store and get food and drink these things are vital if were gonna survive in this hellhole" matt declares,ieuan nods in agreemant and grabs his stuff who is soon followed by tamsin and finaly me I turn to emma and tell he to be careful and if she needs anything ask matt after that I address matt and tell him to look after emma and not to let anything happen to her he nods and I open the door,step outside and climb into the 4x4. Ieuan hops in next to me and tamsin hops in the back,I start the car up and we head into town. About half an hour later we reach the grocery store and I lead the way diving and dodging through cars to make sure we are not to be seen as we reach the entrance we spot two zombies inside walking aimlessly around ieuan and tamsin make lightwork of them and a minute later we have collected all the grocerys and we head across the street to the gun shop but as we open the door guns are pointed to our heads and we are dragged inside. I turn towards the person bearing the gun and to my suprise its Ellie may I haven't seen her in ages. "Oh my god ellie its you......you....survived who are these?" I ask her. "This is chad and gary and that's melissa" she replys. But the chat was long lived as a huge zombie horde is running towards the window. "Quick out the back" I scream. The zombie horde is chasing us down the road and we all hop quickly accept for gary he's inches away from the car " GARY QUI-" I was cut off by a loud crash as another zombie pack was crashing into the other side of the car we had to pull off and leave gary behind the car wheels spun and off we went we could hear garys screams from behind and the crunching of bones gary's bones this day is getting even worse by the minuite."Ellie so how did you actually survive this hellhole I ask her and she replies saying she camped out at the gun store when the infection hit barricading all of the windows and doors so that the zombies couldn't get in and also we had a really big food supply and a lot and I mean a lot of amazing weapons the best guns you could find around for miles just holding them made you feel like a total badass. I suppose the zombpocalypse isn't all that bad because least wr don't have to work but on the other hand we always have to watch our back and make sure that we don't get bit or I guess that's it unless your somehow immune to the virus if someone doesn't shoot you in the head first so I guess lifes ok. We were in the 4x4 pickup truck driving at 60mph and zombies that tried chasing us soon got left behind or ran over and every now and then we would feel a bump on the road guessing we just knocked another zombie over I think to my self its like ten pin bowling but with zombies and a smirk appears on my face as we pull up to the farm we have returned with new additions to the group,newly founded supplies and I think the zombie population is rising.
