When you and jaehyun first met the main thing that made you guys click was that you both enjoyed making music . He came over to speak to you that day because he thought you were the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen but as conversation went on he found out you were the woman of his dreams .
The two of you have been together for 2 years now & he was still so sure that he'd made the right decision with you . He says you are his soulmate and you agree , so does your friends and family .
Usually you and jaehyun share your songs with each other for feedback or advice and today was one of those times . But this time it was a little different .. in the two years of being with you jaehyun has already written you countless songs and showed them to you and you loved them all .. even the few that made you cry . You'd written him some too but you were too embarrassed to sing them around him or show them to him .
"I wrote you another song" you said as he walked into your shared bedroom flopping himself down next to you as your guitar and notebook was in your lap . You sat against the headboard with your bonnet on secure and your pjs on but he still thought you looked beautiful . "Can i hear this one?" he asked in a sleepy tone as he was quite literally exhausted from work earlier that day . "Nope" you said popping the p and making him laugh a bit .
You looked over at him and he was already looking at you with the softest gaze one you were familiar with when it came to him . He always looks at you as if you'd hung the moon and stars just for him . "sleepy?" you asked bringing a hand to rub his head and then his cheeks . He let out a small sigh and nodded his head a little before taking your hand and placing kisses to your palm . "sleep then , i'll be here" you said before bending to kiss the top of his head watching as his eyes fluttered shut .
You looked at your lyric book before flipping it around seeing the number 7 on it . The seventh book of songs you'd written & the 4th since you'd been with him and out of all four books almost every page was a song about him . You thought for a second before looking over at jaehyun who seemed to be fast asleep now and then softly sat your guitar down and slid up from the bed going over to your closet .
The box in the bottom you hadn't touched for a while , almost a year . You pulled it out and grabbed your old notebooks shuffling through them until you found book number 3 . Before jaehyun you didn't write many love songs you had a few but nothing too crazy . He just came into your life and showed you the most beautiful and pure form of love that you couldn't help but write about it more .. about him .
Getting back into your spot you flipped the book until you found the first song you'd written about him . Page 45 .
You picked up your guitar , hands a little shaky as your fingers started playing . Then the singing started . When it did you started to remember the day you wrote this song . That day was your first time performing live in front of an audience . You were nervous as there was a lot more people that came than you'd thought but even with almost 2 thousand people in front of you & the stupid bright blinding lights you saw jaehyun smiling at you happily before blowing you a kiss to calm your nerves .
" miss your hair , i like the way you stare .. into my eyes , most of the time ."
You sang and jaehyun was already waking up . You kept singing and eventually he was fully awake and sitting up as you played and sang . Your eyes melted into his as he listened attentively and you swear you could see the moment he realized this was a song about him . This was the first time you'd showed him one and he was already emotional .
His eyes brimmed with tears as he sat with his hands in his lap .
" And if there was a place that I had to choose , Or a memory that fades that I cannot lose .."
Seeing how the song touched him your eyes started to water as the both of you held eye contact with each other . Maybe it was in that moment or maybe it was just the appreciation you had for jaehyun and the way he loved you but everything just felt so right .. so perfect and emotionally intimate .
" the pink in your cheeks when you slightly lose your temper , makes me love you .. even more "
He laughed a little at that , tears rolling down both sides of his face made you want to reach out and wipe them away . Jaehyun thinks this is probably the second best day of his life .. the first being when you said yes to being his girlfriend . He swayed from side to side as you continued his head tilted and face pink and full of tears but his smile never left .

You kept playing until the song was over and jaehyun smiled at you with teary eyes for a bit and you did the same . "Woah-" he stopped to take a breath . "First of all that was amazing & second i love you so much it's insane really" his voice cracked and you pouted putting your guitar aside to hug him .
"I love you even more" you kissed the top of his head as he held you tighter .
