CHAPTER 15 

I woke up the next day in Jye's arms. I stirred before I looked up at him. He had the biggest smile plastered on his face and considering last night's events, I assumed it was a dream.  

"Good morning Mi Amor." He said with a cheeky grin. I looked down at where the hole in his shirt should have been-there was nothing, he was completely healed. 

"Alright, am I the only one here who might doubt what happened last night? I mean... Why are you so happy?" I asked. By that point I thought I was hallucinating.  

"You want to know why?" he asked. 

"Just tell me! You're making me nervous!!" I said laughing. 

"Well... guess what I had a dream about last night?" he asked. 

"... Gray?"I asked giving him a questioning glance. 

"No. If I did I might have woken you and told you all about it but unfortunately it's not about Gray." He said. I looked at him and tried to think of one reason why he would be so over the moon at... seven thirty in the morning.

He burst into laughter and I just glared at him. 

"What?!" I asked. "Is there something on my face? Why are you laughing?" I asked curiously, a bit paranoid I'm sure. 

It was then that Jye told me about his great dream, he also clarified that what happened the night before wasn't a dream of my own. 

"She got arrested Ree, can you believe it?" By that point I had gotten up to make my bed but when he said 'arrested' I turned around, screamed and threw my arms around him. 

"Now you're safe Ree."

"But that still leaves one thing on the list for me..."

"What?" He asked putting me at arm's length and looking me in the eye. 

"My mum." 

"Hi sweetie! How is everything going? I was going to ring you but i haven't had the time!" My Mum always answered on the third ring.

"Hey mum! I've been good. Things with Jye are going really well. What about you? How are wedding preparations?" i asked her through the phone.

"Yes, they've been great! Speaking of my wedding, you're going to be my bridesmaid. Since you have more fashion sense than me, i'll let you go shopping for the dress by yourself but it has to be long, elegant & and a pastel peach. I'll give you the money next time i see you. I trust you with this." She said.

"Really?! No way! Yay!" I exclaimed with happiness.

"I know you told me not to have a hen's night but i had to! I just organised something small down at the pub." She said. Typical of mum to do the one thing i told her not to do. 

"Yeah about that. How about just you and me go out for a Pedi and Mani tomorrow arvo? I promise I will shout and you can finally introduce me to Steve- no hen's night. You don't have my blessing." I said sternly.

After about a half-an-hour phone call, she agreed to stay away from the pub altogether. She also agreed on spending her hen's night with just me and I looked forward to talking to her about Jye.

"Okay, bye. I love you too. See you soon." I said hanging up the phone.

"Hey, I'm going to catch Monique's court case. I'll be back." Jye said as i hung up, coming over to give me a kiss on the cheek.
