I didn't continue with classes at Green Day. I had almost no friends and i couldn't bear seeing Jye in biology every second day, so i found no point in it. I did homeschooling instead, because mum said that it would be easier for me to contiue learning the same things i had learnt at Green Day. She didn't want me starting a new school and failing exams because i had come halfway through the semester and was completely lost with what they were learning. It was a smart idea and i was kind of glad she decided for me.

"Breakfast is ready sweetie. I'm leaving in an hour, your tutor will be here soon!" I woke up to that almost every morning since i started home school.

I was already awake and had just finished brushing my teeth when i heard her voice screaming up the stairs. I threw on a loose singlet and some denim shorts, brushed my straightened hair and ran down the stairs.

"Morning." I said giving mum a kiss on the cheek and taking my seat at the table.

"Okay so you've got Math, Lit and Biology today so you finish at two. I'll be home by three and if you can, prepare lunch." My smile fell as the word 'biology' slipped from her mouth.

"I honestly didn't think it'd be such a problem for you to make lunch. If you're going to sulk over it then forget about it." Mum said, half pissed off.

"Oh no, that's not a problem. Lunch will be ready when you walk in the door-- promise." I snapped back to reality and reminded myself that i wouldn't be seeing Jye.

"You'll be fine Ree. Stop stressing." That voice in my head claimed.

After breakfast, i said goobye to mum and headed over to the study.

My teacher-- Mrs Bista-- greeted me and told me to take a seat. She was a kind little lady who reminded me a little of Mrs Norbury from Mean Girls, although she was much older. Today she had on a long white dress with a brown vest and clogs.

"Okay Ariana today we are going to be learning algebra!" She said over-excited. The downside to homschooling was that there was no one who could save you from getting the answer wrong-- you've got to work it out all alone.

Five horrilble hours of school finished and i found myself making lunch for mum. I finished frying the chicken just as she walked through the door.

"Oooh, it smells great!" She announced upon entering.

"Fresh chicken wraps are served." I quickly finished rolling the wraps and placed them on the set table for mum and I to enjoy.

"How was work?" I asked as she sat down in her seat.

"Tiring. One of the kids in my casual class had an anaphylactic attack, resulting in me almost having a heart attack! It was sport so i took the kids out to play a game of basketball and while they were choosing teams he got an insect bite. Within seconds his tongue started to swell and he went into shock. I had to run him up to the office but i made one of the faster kids run there first and warn the office assistants i was on my way with Charlie. I think that was his name. Anyway, the first aid lady took over and thankfully, he was alright. Apart from that, my day wasn't all that interesting. What about you?" She asked.

"Algebra." I replied. Mum gave me a knowing look and started eating her wrap.

"By the way Ree, we're going to a formal dinner thing tmorrow night at six. One of my work colegues requested we go out to dinner with her and she just had to suggest the most expensive place in town. I was thinking you could just wear your red evening dress, save us from going out to buy yet another one? It's up to you though," mum said halfway through lunch.
