Authors Note: I know i haven't been updating much, and that's because i've only got like four reads on my last chapter. To those people who are still reading, thank you and i love you all! It was the day of mums wedding and the house was full of girls. All the bridesmaids, plus Neveah, Nina and I were frolicking around making sure everything was going smoothly. Mum's dress was in one piece, her hair and make-up artist was on their way and all of the guys at Steve's place were on time. So far, everything was according to plan.
The hair and makeup artist finally arrived and did mums hair and makeup. She wore a brown smokey eye with pink lipstick. Her eyelashes were long and black, her cheeks high and defined. Her hair was in a curly, messy up do, similar to one of Taylor Swift's.
"You look beautiful mum." I said hugging her. She truly did look amazing. She was happy and it radiated off her. "I know we're leaving in about two minutes but here. It's supposed to be you doing this at my wedding but i'm still happy to have the chance." I smiled warmly at her
"Something old: this means a lot to me and i want you to use it as the ring bearers pillow." I handed her the first pillow she ever gave me as a child, and i wouldn't ever let go of it. She smiled brightly and took it.
"Something new: i know you've always wanted one so i finally bought you it." I clasped the pandora around her wrist and the single charm fell to the bottom. It was a wedding rings charm and i thought it fit the situation perfectly.
"Something borrowed: i've arranged for you to use the same vowels grandpa and grandma did at their wedding. I remember you always repeating them to me as the most beautiful vowels in the world." Mum wiped a tear from the corner of her eye and smiled.
"Something blue: although it might be a little weird for me to give this to you, i thought that every girl needs one of these on her wedding day. Here." I handed her a blue garter and she slid it onto her slim leg easily.
"Thank you so much sweetie. I love you." She said giving me a hug. "I love you too mum." I said returning the hug. I felt good about giving mum the whole 'something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue' thing. She deserved it and i was happy for her. I quickly ran up to my room to slip on my heels, only to find Jye sitting on the edge of my bed. I walked in and he looked up, startled.
"Wow..." He said, his mouth forming the shape of an 'o'. "What?" i asked, paranoid. "You look... beautiful. Absoluetly stunning. Ladies and gents, that amazing lady right there is my girlfriend!" Jye said with a chuckle. After i put on my silver, crystal-beaded pumps, I went over to him and laughed.
He hugged me and i leaned in to give him a light, lingering kiss. "Hmmmm." He said closing his eyes. His arms were still around my wasit and mine, around his neck.
"You seem to be getting more and more beautiful by the day." He stated simply. I gave him one last kiss-- a real one this time-- and walked outside.
The ceremony was amazing. I tried to hold back my tears during the vowels but i just couldn't contain myself. It was beautiful. The reception however, wasn't as beautiful. It was more a fun-filled evening with great entertainment, food and music.
Overall, i think mum had a great time and so did i. I got home and kicked off my pumps, scrubbed my make-up off and hopped into the shower. Now that the wedding was over, i had the school formal to look forward to. My boyfriend was a ghost and my bestfriends had their own formal at another school. It was my first and last school formal and by that point, it looked like i was going stag... great. _________________________
