Chapter 28

Hey guys! Thanks for all the reads!

I know i've been neglecting this for a while, but i've been having writers block with this book. 

Anyway, although Wattpad says this book only has 70 pages, it actually has 130 (according to MSWord)

There will probably be another ten or so chapters after this one, as the story comes to an end.

"Thanks for tucking me in last night," i said falling in step with Ryan as we headed down to the breakfast hall.

"Oh that wasn't me," he replied.

I gave him a confused look but he brushed it off, not telling me who tucked me in.

"Anyway Ree, that thing i was going to tell you about last night... Can i tell you after breakfast?" He asked.

"Why can't you just tell me now?" I asked, grabbing a plate and joining the queue.

Following my lead, he said, "psychic school remember? People can tune into our conversation whenever they want... And the less people knew the better," he replied anxiously.

"Okay, whatever floats your boat Mr," i said with a big smile on my face.

As we sat down, Ryan's anxiety was really starting to worry me.

"Ryan, is everything okay? Usually you'd be just as happy as me, considering I can feel the happiness radiating off me but you're the one with powers and yet you don't happen to feel any of it. Or maybe you do but whatever you're worrying about you must be really worrying about considering you're still worrying about it..."

"What does that even mean? I don't think i could comprehend any of that," Ryan replied.

"You seem really stressed. How 'bout we skip breakfast and talk?" I asked.

"You might wanna talk with other people," Ryan said pointing behind me.

I turned around slowly and of course, Jye stood there hands crossed-- eyes expectant. 

"Excuse me, but what talking with him do i have to do?" I whispered furiously to Ryan. 

"Just get up and go. You can thank me later."

"Thank you later? What, i'm not going to be thanking you at all!" I said still whispering.

That's when i heard it: a barley audible but clearly desperate, "please." 

I grabbed my bag, stood up and left-- silently walking next to Jye.

I followed Ree and Ryan to their table, Ree completely over the moon and Ryan freaking out about God knows what.

I imagined that he was probably freaking out about me being there, but then i realised he still hadn't told Ree that he was gay, and it seemed that that was all he was worried about.
