On the first day of school, I was up early, hair done, school uniform on-I know, corny right?-and ready to discover what school was like. My timetable had arrived in the mail and it told me what classes I had from day's one through ten and that once day ten was done; it went back to day one. Today I had five subjects.

Day 1

P1- Advanced English

P2- Fashion Studio 2

P3- Study Break

Recess Break

Regards, Mr Gray

Hopefully, school would be fun and I would make new friends in the classes that my friends didn't already share with me, i thought at the time.

I went downstairs and found breakfast on the table-as usual-and the blinds were open with the blinding sun following my every step toward the kitchen bench.

I plugged in the kettle and looked for the coffee. Once I found it, I grabbed a mug and put two teaspoons of coffee into it and one teaspoon of sugar. I opened the fridge, grabbed the milk out and poured it about a quarter away from the top of the mug.

By the time I made my coffee, my breakfast should have been cold, but luckily for me, it wasn't. When I sat down and looked around for mum, I found a note on the kitchen table. I stood up and went to go read it.

'Went to work early, have fun at school princess. I will call you when I get home. See you when I see you, and then we can say a proper good bye. Love you lots! Xoxx, Mum.

'BTW, going on a date with that guy you saw me talking to. His name is Steve and he is really nice.'

Ugh, I couldn't believe she didn't tell me about him. We talk about everything! When I get a boyfriend, I am just going to 'forget' to mention it to her. I knew that there was chemistry between the two of them, I mean; they were really hitting it off.

So I sat down and finished my breakfast in peace. We didn't start until nine thirty, and I already packed all the things from my room that I wanted to take in my suitcase: my laptop, brush, hair ties, straightener , make-up, reading books, guitar, keyboard and of course, most of my clothes.

In my schoolbag, I had my books, PE uniform, umbrella, (in case I needed it) my mini make-up bag (for emergencies like zits or blackheads) and pretty much what every other teenage girl had in their bags.

By eight thirty, I was ready and waiting outside with my luggage and bag. Ayden had told me that he would come by to take me and the girls to school. I took out my phone and played around with it until I heard a horn beep from my driveway.

I looked up and saw Ayden, Neveah and Nina's heads sticking out of the window of his white Mazda 3. While the girls stayed in the car, he got out and helped me put my luggage in the boot. Compared to Neveah's-I could tell it was hers because it had crocodile print on the front-mine was tiny. Ayden picked it up with ease and put it on the other side of Nev's.

"Man, compared to Neveah's luggage, yours is light as. Excited about boarding school?" He said. I didn't even have to think about the answer.

"Heck yeah, I can't wait to live on my own. Well, with a roommate, but I still won't have mum around telling me what to do." I said.

"I know right, how awesome will it be just the four of us, every day. Hey, did you get my application forms?"

"Oh yeah, here." I said swinging my bag around from my right shoulder to have a look inside. I found the application forms and handed it to him."Thanks Ree, I owe you."

"No prob. Come on, we should get to school. Hey, if we get there by nine-thirty, then why did the principal say he will see us at noon?" I asked as we hoped in the car.

"Who knows, maybe that is the time we will meet him." He said as he hit the accelerator. It was then that I got a bad feeling of that place. I didn't know whether it was the school we were going to, or if it was something else entirely, but i knew it wasn't going to be good.

Boy was i right.
