Chapter 18 Listen to Me

I touched up my makeup, and then Harry and I went backstage to get my mic and stuff hooked up.
"GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!" Michael shouted.
Okay that means I am on.
My band got all set up quickly, and now all that is left is me.
"Good luck!" Harry said kissing my cheek.
I got the sign to go out, so I ran out on stage to the mic.
"How is everyone tonight?" the whole crowd cheered.
"Alright I am going to start off with my first single." (A/n: I changed it to On Purpose By Sabrina Carpenter)

I closed my eyes and held my microphone in between my hand as I listened to the gentle sound of the beat.

"Your eyes.. Crashin' into my eyes, Was I accidentally falling in love?" I thought about the moment I met Shawn. The moment we made eye contact from across that room. I shouldn't of fell so hard if I was going to end up hurt.

"Your words, Didn't mean to heal the hurt,
Were coincidentally more than enough.." He healed my brokenness from Kade. 'I'll protect you from anyone trying to hurt you' I remember he whispered to me the same night I was laying on the bathroom floor crying from that stupid phone call from Amber.

I danced and made sang the 'haah' noise as the music was loud. I'm so glad Jack and Jack showed me this beat otherwise this song wouldn't be as much fun.

"But I guess that we did it on purpose!" I sang while dancing around.

"But I guess that we did it on purpose!" I calmed down but kept the adrenaline smile on my face. I pulled the hairs out of my face as I sang.

It's a butterfly effect on my heart.." Shawn and I both had our dreams come true. Look at us now what we are both doing.

"You're scared, I'm nervous!"

I pulled my ear pieces out, I stopped and pointed my microphone towards the crowd letting them sing. "But I guess that we did it on purpose, on purpose, on purpose" they sang back to me leaving a huge smile on my face.
