Chapter 34 Questions..

This sun on my skin feels nice. I am glad I have the skin type that tans and doesn't burn.

With my eyelids closed I could tell someone laid next to me. One because the sun disappeared for a seconds, and two because I could feel a couple drips of water on me.

Slowly I turned my head, and barely opened my eye to peek at the person. It was Shawn not some creeper I am safe.

"Hey Shawn," I smiled sitting up to start a conversation.

He looked so happy, but who could blame him we are in the Bahamas.

"Hi!" He smiled.

"What have you been up to lately?" I asked trying to start a conversation.

"Just thinking about life. Is is such a beautiful thing; even with all the hard stuff because eventually it will get better. I just wish everyone could see it." Wow he turned very serious on me in less then a second.

He is right though. When life gets hard you just have to push right pass it, and keep going because it does get better. In the end it will be all worth it.

"You are a hundred percent correct Shawn."

"Hey Maddie I have a question." He told me.

I nodded my head for him to continue.

"It has taken me a while to get enough guts, but do you want to-um- go on a date with me tonight?" He asked.

He really did just ask me on a date didn't he. I could hear Mahogany and Anna move around behind me, but I didn't want to look.

I can't believe he asked me. Should I say no because I kinda just stop having a thing with Luke, or do I say yes because I like him more then like him. I should probably answer him soon if I don't want to worry him.

I looked him straight in the eyes, and gave him a really big smile.
"Of course," I replied.

A huge smile replaced his worried look. "Thank god you said yes. For a second you had me worried."

~Before the date~

"Anna I don't need any more hair spray," I told her starting to get annoyed.

Yes it's nice they want to help, but I don't really need it. This isn't my first date with the kid; I am experienced.

I was already dressed so they wanted to do my hair and makeup, but Anna doesn't need to add whole bunch of hairspray into my hair. Even though it is a messy ponytail look.

For my outfit I decided on wearing my maroon dress with a sweetheart neckline, black sandals, black earrings, and my gold pineapple necklace I got a couple days ago.

Mahogany insisted on doing my makeup; she did natural colors for the eyeshadow, mascara, and a perfect winger eyeliner.

I am pretty satisfied with my appearance. Alright let's get this show on the road, and out of here before anyone comes over.

"Remember if anyone asks where we are tell them we went to go get dessert. We will bring back something for Matt and you guys," I reminded the girls.

I just hope none of the guys find out. I do feel really bad about not telling them, but we don't know where we are going in a relationship way. We could just stay friends.

I walked out into the living room where Shawn was waiting. Once he saw me a smile spread across his face.

"You look absolutely beautiful," he said hugging me.
