Chapter 33 Midnight Swims

•Sorry I haven't updated in forever, but this chapter is well worth the wait. I hope you guys enjoy it!!!•

Nash was the last one to leave in the middle of Iron Man.

"I'm going to bed," Matt yawned.

"Night Bobo," I whispered.

He walked into his room, and he closed the door.

Mahogany and Anna whispered things to each other making me curious. What twisted things are they talking about now.

Anna cleared her throat getting Shawn and I's attention.

"We are going to go to bed. It's getting pretty late, and we need some beauty sleep," Mahogany smirked.

They both got up leaving Shawn and I. Alone. No one else. Awkward.

We both shifted awkwardly in our chairs. I know exactly why they went to bed; so we would be alone. Why do they have to torture me.

Well this is getting awkwarder and awkwarder as it goes, so I should just talk.

"Shawn?" I asked getting his attention.

"Yeah?" He asked still looking at Iron Man.

"Thank you.. For defending me. It meant a lot, and still means a lot," I hesitantly told him.

I don't know why I am so hesitant with talking to him. It's just happening for some reason.

"It was no problem. I would do anything for you." I heard him whisper the last part probably not wanting me to hear, but I did.

I rubbed my temples with my fingers trying to clear my head.

"Maddie?"

"Mmhm?" I turned my gaze to him, and saw him with a hug smirk on his face.

"Wanna do something fun?" He asked with a big smile.

I can go for something fun.

"What is it?" I asked almost jumping off the couch.

"Let's go night swimming!" He whisper shouted.

That sounds like a blast. The water looks beautiful with the glow it gives off at night time. Plus swimming is a lot of fun.

"Let's do it," I said adding a smirk.

I carefully opened the door to the girls room, and tip toed to my suitcase. Thank god they both sleep with mask because I used my flashlight.

I grabbed my plain black bathing suit and sweatshirt then slowly closed the door.

Taking big steps I made it to the bathroom, and closed the door behind me.

Quickly I changed into my bathing suit, and grabbed a towel. Before going outside I set my sweatshirt on my 'bed'; Shawn was already outside facing the water in his swim trunks. I took this as an opportunity to stare at his back muscles.

A bright idea came to my mind. I tossed my towel on the ground. I ran to Shawn and pushed him in, but he had ahold of me.

The warm night water surrounded me as I swam up laughing.

Once the I resurfaced Shawn was already up laughing.

"You are going to pay for that Espinosa," he smirked starting to swim towards me.

As quick as I could I tried to swim away, but he caught up dunking me under.

When I came back up he was laughing once more.
