Chapter 54 Waking up

I heard small whispers coming from the back of the bus. It was still dark since the curtain was pulled back blocking out all the light. At the end in the crack I could see just a little bit of light.

Shawn's toned arms rested around me as I was pulled into his warm chest with the blanket covering us. I could feel his breathing on the back of my neck. They were slow breaths tickling my neck.

I smiled at the thought of being able to spend time with Shawn. Something I love to do. Slowly I pulled my phone out from under the pillow, and got on snap chat. I took a quick picture using the selfie flash that is just a little light of Shawn and I.

'My sleepy little birthday boy'

I added it to my story, and looked at the snap chats I got. Matt sent me one of him and Anna getting starbucks in the driveway, and Cam sent me one of him making cereal. These boys are random. I quickly responded with funny faces.

I looked on Twitter, and looked through the Happy Birthdays people were sending to Shawn.  It was even trending. I decided to wait till later today to post anything, so I can take a picture of us for it. I already have a lot of them to post, but I want one from today.

I could hear Andrew talking to Jacquie about how incredible the tour has been. I guess Jacquie is flying home once we get to the stadium. It was nice meeting her. Shawn was right when he talked about how nice and down to Earth she is.

I figured it was time for him to wake up, so I slowly moved in his arms to make us face to face. With my fingers I caressed his face trying to wake him up. His grip on me tightened, and his eyes started opening slowly. A small smiled appeared on his face as he looked at me.

"Good morning," his raspy voice said as he spoke his first words of the morning.

"Happy birthday again," I whispered. I gave him a slow soft kiss on his lips, and pulled back to look at him.  "Let's get up." He nodded his head, and did a quick small stretch.

I pulled the curtain, and slowly rolled out of the bunk hitting the ground with my bare feet. It felt good to do a full stretch, and Shawn mimicked my actions. Shawn wrapped his arm around me as we quietly walked to the bathroom to brush our teeth.

I put the tooth paste on our tooth brush, and handed him his tooth brush as I started brushing my teeth. Looking at him brush his teeth reminded me when we were back at my home for prom, and we were getting ready by brushing our teeth, and I accidently spit on his head as he went down to spit our his tooth paste spit. Which causes him to chase me around my room. I love all of our memories, and I love making new memories. Most people have a hard time making new memories, so they look back at the old ones, but with us we can do both.

"I wuv you," I said with my tooth brush in my mouth. He smiled at me, and replied with the same mouth full of tooth paste.

We both walked out of the bathroom smiling as we made our way to the back of the bus where Jacquie, Andrew, and Tom were sitting while talking. Geoff was still on his bunk sleeping. Shawn sat down on the couch, and I sat next to him and Jacquie.

Everybody sent happy birthdays to him.

"Wow you are an adult now. Isn't dating a minor illegal?" Andrew asked laughing.

"In a couple weeks she isn't going to be a minor either," Shawn smiled grabbing my hands.

I still haven't gave Shawn his birthday present since I put it under the bus. I ended up getting him a nice watch since he didn't have a really nice one, and nice pair of black boots. They are even wrapped up in a cute little ribbons.

"So you will have to wait for your birthday present since it is currently under the bus," I cheekily smiled up at him.

"You didn't have to get me one. I only need you."

I laughed at his cheesy respond. It is cute when he does cute cheesy things, or says them. It just makes him twenty times more adorable.

"Yeah okay," I sarcastically said. "I got you something. Get over it Mendes."

Andrew started bringing up the plan for this week, and I just sat next to Shawn watching the news that was on. Great today is suppose to be nice. That means I get to wear a dress! I looked down at the shirt I was wearing, and got up.

If I am going to walk off this bus might as well throw on a decent shirt till I can change. I grabbed a button up, and put it on. The I walked back to see a confused look on Shawn's face. I ignored it, and sat down again.

"Since it is morning, and I am a girl. A girl that loves food to be exact. What are we having?" Jacquie casually asked adding a small laugh to the end. I nodded my head in agreement.

"It is my birthday Tom," Shawn threw in.

"Fine i'll make pancakes!" Tom said throwing his arms in the air.

We all cheered being able to have food beside Shawn. I looked over at him to see why he wasn't cheering. Tom must of noticed since he rolled his eyes at Shawn. "Fine I'll have John buy muffins for breakfast."

Shawn then clapped his hands in excitement. At just a small mention of muffins he cheers. He is so silly.

A/N: Oh I am so sorry! I feel asleep early last night, and I had homework tonight. I quickly wrote this filler chapter now laying in bed. I am sorry! I will update again this week to make up for the late update and short chapter.
