Chapter 40 Surprise Fail

Today Shawn is coming home to visit for a little before heading back on the road, and I couldn't be any more excited. I feel like I am going to explode with excitement!

I have so many questions to ask him. Most have to do with Taylor Swift because she is my favorite.

In about twenty minutes I have to leave for the airport to pick him up. He doesn't know I am picking him up because it is a surprise. He just thinks he is suppose to take a cab home. I am so excited to see him again.

Leaving twenty minutes early won't do any harm right? I will just wait for him at the gate.

I grabbed my keys and purse then quickly headed out to my Jeep.

It took about thirty minutes to finally park, but I made it and still on good timing. Out front I noticed a black SUV with dark tinted windows. Looks like someone famous might be here.

I made sure my hat and sunglasses were on, and walked towards the waiting area. I don't want him to see me right away, so I should probably move. Twenty feet away and hiding behind a post is good right?

It probably looks like I am some stalker.

I stuck my phone away into my purse, and looked back up. I noticed his tall muscular frame and guitar case. But before I moved he was already heading towards someone. Why was he smiling so big if it's just a taxi driver. Wait why is he going in for a hug? I moved my head a little to look around the post, and noticed Camila.

They hugged, and he kissed her on the cheek before I turned away. I need to get out of here before they see me. He can't know I was here.

Quickly I ran out to my vehicle, and started it.

Why did he call her out of everyone? We had that fight about her months back, and then he has her pick him up?! He could of gotten Matt or someone to get him.

I like how I have this cute little romantic thing planned out, and she has to ruin it. Thanks a lot.

Finally I arrived back home, and threw my purse and keys on the table.

At least I made it home before he did. I want to talk to someone about this- well I want to talk to Gilinsky, but he might get in trouble for hanging out with me alone.

It's worth a shot to see if she isn't over at his house. Slowly I made my way outside, and to my driveway. Sure enough her car was parked out front. Scratch talking to Jack off the list.

"Ugh!" I groaned before walking inside my house again.

Frustrated I went into our backyard, and sat on one of the chairs. Anna was swimming with Matt and Hayes.

"Anna am I being a paranoid psycho girlfriend?" I asked looking up at the clouds.

"What happened now?" She asked swimming to the edge, and waiting.

"Well I was trying to be this good girlfriend and surprise Shawn. I had this cute little romantic thing were I was going to pick him up with out him knowing it. He thought he was going to take a cab home. So here I was hiding behind a post waiting to pop out when I finally see him.. Well- he walked up hugged and kissed someone's cheek. Turns out it was Camilas! I got out of there as quickly as I could," I explained.

He wouldn't be cheating, and well I can't ask him if he was because we all know where that will lead.
Maybe I am just over exaggerating things.
