Chapter 47 Finally Free

"Are you sure your fine?" My mom asked as I held my hand on my forehead.

Getting the drugs out of my system is really killing me. I just feel so nauseous. It's a constant throwing up feeling in my stomach. I've only thrown up once since out of surgery, and it hurt really bad. It strained my side, and it felt like my stitches were about to undo.

"Yeah I'm fine, it's just a little nausea."

I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes.

I love my mom to death, but she has been really annoying today. She is constantly asking me if I need something, and every time I tell her no. If I need something I will ask her.

I get she is my mom, and wants to take care of me. It is just getting a little annoying. I guess I am use to living on my own, and taking care of myself.

"More flowers for you Rae," Matt said caring in another bouquets.

The one Matt was caring was made up of pink, yellow, and orange tulips. The flowers were all in a glass case with a pink bow wrapped around it, and on the top of all of it there was silver glitter sprayed on the top.

"Who are those from?" I asked reaching out for the card.

"Harry and the guys," he replied handing me the card.

I opened it, and started to read it.

All of the lads and I are thinking of you. We all wish we could be there to give you big hugs. Of course you are a fighter, and are doing well. Every one says get well.
P.S. Niall wanted to make sure I told you the flowers are from all of us.

"Aw that was sweet of them," I said setting the card down.

My room is already filled with so many gifts. I have gotten flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, candy, and from Hayes a blanket.

"Here is the flowers from 5 Seconds of Summer," Anna told me while she walked in, and setting them down.

The flowers they got me are so pretty too. They were pink, red, and white roses with baby breaths as an accent.

Anna handed me the letter.

Dear Maddie,

It's Michael! I just stole the pen from Luke because I wanted to write you. I hope you get better my little caterpillar! Love you lots!

Now it's my turn. It's me Calum I stole the pen from Michael, and now I am hiding in the closet. I hope you get better. We miss you a lot, and want you to call us some times. Me being the oldest I had to yell at Calum to give me the pen since he was trying to write you a novel. Luke is kinda pissed at every one from taking the pen from him, but anyways. Hi Maddie its Luke! I hope you are feeling better. It must of been awful having to have an emergency surgery, but you will do better now. Matt texted us to tell us your condition since he knows we are close friends with you. He also told us how worried he was about you. Matt is definitely a great brother, so you should tell him thank you. Well the show is starting soon, and we had to call the flower shop to order this, so hope you feel better.  .xo the band
