*Flashback To When Serena Met Him Number 2*

I laughed with Anaya at her funny stories, while entering my math class. The lights were closed, people slouched in their seats scribbling down notes.
The class had already begun, and people turned towards us, shooting us a curious glance, as to know what we were talking about.

"Sorry, we're late. We had to do some important work," I honestly spoke.

After all wasn't stopping to have a talk with one of your friends an important task? For me it sure was.

"It's okay," Mr. Horus, my teacher assured. "Go take a seat."

I knew he wouldn't be mad at me for being late, because he thought of me as a good student, and there were barely any times I was late.

I made my way to the back of the class, to my usual seat. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, noticing Damon sitting in the seat next to mine.

Odd, he hadn't sat there before this day.

"Hey Da-" I plopped down in my seat,  then looked at the person to my right, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion. "You're not Damon."

The boy turned towards me, his face emotionless. His hair was a rich shade of mahogany. It reached half of his neck to adorn his dark skin. His eyes, framed by long lashes, were an emerald green. A somewhat slanted nose, and full pink lips. He was dressed in a black shirt, with a leather jacket on top.

Three words. He was hot. I was burning.

"Who is he?" I yelled for the whole class to hear.

"Your new crush," Damon mumbled from in front of me.

I slapped him on the arm, watching as the boy turned away shaking his head.

"Serena first you come late to class, and then you start hitting on new boys," Mr. Horus teased.

A blush crept up to my cheeks, as I shook my head in disagreement.

"I was just kidding," he added. "That's a new student, he came this morning."

"Oh."

Who knew that one person would be the start of everything bad, yet the end of nothing good?

"Actually you know what, don't even answer my question. I don't want to know anything about any of them," I stated, slamming the door shut in his face.

I heard him sigh, then heard retreating footsteps, signalling that he had left. I looked around my dorm, staring at the identical things on each side. A twin sized bed with a night stand, and a wardrobe was on each side, except for the bathroom which was only on the left. My roommates side. I had kept both sides clean after my roommate had left, most of the time only coming to my room to sleep.

For once I could say I hadn't been the one to scare someone away. She had left willingly. I made my way over to the window which was on my roommate's side, taking a seat on the window seat.
