Dear Diary:

When one starts to matter more than they should, we lose value in their life. They take us for granted, knowing if that they left today, then tomorrow when they would return we would surely be waiting for them.

Eden thought that too. If it hadn't been for Asim, I would've never known who he was. But, I was destined to meet Asim, only to meet Eden, and then in the end, be left heartbroken.

I wasn't desperately waiting for that one guy to enter my life. That one guy who could make my heartbeat faster when he's around, or make me blush.

No! I was surely perfect the way my life was going. I could've lived without him, yet after what he did, I hate him.

He broke my heart into a million pieces, one by one crushing them painfully slow.

Eden was the cause of my destruction. It was because of him that Damon thought he could be something more in my life than a friend.

*Flashback To Serena's Heartbreak*

"I don't think you're having fun, Serena," Damon stated, nudging me in the side, as we walked out of the mall.

I fiddled with my fingers, a frown on my face.

"I am," I lied, merely smiling his way.

Damon raised an eyebrow, not buying my answer.

I let out a deep sigh, staring down at the ground.

"I miss him," I replied, referring to Eden. "The last time I saw him was two weeks ago, and he's still not back. He messaged me like twice, and then that was it. He said he was busy, so he wouldn't be able to talk."

I felt as though something was wrong. Eden had said for the break he was returning home to his family, since they wouldn't be able to visit. It wasn't that I needed him to talk to me all the time, or stay with me, it's just that I couldn't help but feel as though something was wrong. Really wrong.

Damon seemed to be lost in his thoughts, staring ahead with a distant look in his eyes. Just like Tyler would do, while thinking of something he wanted to say out loud, but couldn't.

I wondered what Damon wanted to say.

"Forget him for awhile," Damon answered, placing an arm around my shoulder. "Think of the old times before Eden came, when you and I used to hang out."

A smile made its way onto my lips, as I nodded. "Oh I remember those times really well. When you would buy me food every day." What was I supposed to say? I was hungry.

Yet, that wasn't the thought running across my mind at the time. No, it was something completely different. My thoughts were focused on Eden, him and only him. There was something deep down in my guts, reminding me happiness didn't last forever.

Damon let out a laugh, interrupting my train of thoughts. "Come on then, let's go get you something to eat," he remarked, pulling me closer towards him, while we walked towards the Chinese restaurant in from of us.
